I spent there 4 days and it was the worst experience ever! The food was bad and overpriced all over the place, but you are kind of stuck there... First night the whole family of 4 got food poisoning from one of the restaurants there. Those who managed to throw up were lucky, cause the rest was feeling sick till the end of our stay ;/ There was a poop floating in children pool. In the big pool something touched my leg - surprise! surprise! a DIAPER! Our room was not cleaned during these 4 days, we had to put the trash outside the door to be picked up. There was always a queue to service desk, so we didn't even manage to report it.

Tropical Islands means to me to stay in nice warm weather - 24.2C is not sufficient and it was really cold when step up from 32degrees pool. Many places were closed without any warning upon arrival. Big slides were under reconstruction, ok, article on web site, but no price compensation, minigolf-closed, BoraBora lounge - closed, half of kid's playground - closed. Smell from slide construction was touchable in half of hangar. I need to mention 1.5h gueue before we could enter the Islands. Any ideas for improvement to speed up the process? I was terribly dissapointed and once you pay entrance and night, you stay, because of kids but I guess it is not what succesfull managemant wants.KateřinaCzech Republic - 8.0Scored 8.0

The hotel is nice although not the newest, but clean. Personnel nice and helpful. Breakfast was ok, standard choice. The choice of Food in the restaurant ar the dinner was really limited. Tasted ok but it was hard to choose if you do not want heavy food or you are with children. Chicken nuggets is not our best choice for a child but we had to go for it as all the rest was not for children. We used it as a base for the Tropical Islands and this was a good choice

We enjoyed our stay. The mobile home was the perfect price for our family, 2 adults and 2 kids. We saved money by using booking.com vs the main website, which made it possible for us to take this quick weekend trip! We stayed 2 nights (spent 1/2 day and full day inside the dome) it was plenty of time for us to enjoy it on a budget! I read on another review that there was no hand soap in the bathrooms and no wash cloths, so I brought both of those things with us and it turned out to be true. They had everything else besides those two things. We utilized the wine glasses in the cupboard.🍷 also there was a refrigerator and tiny dish washer, dishes and pots for cooking, which was not listed in the room description. It just states a “kitchen” but there was everything there you need to cook a small meal or prep food. (there was dishwashing soap as well) We really enjoyed tropical Islands! It was nice to feel like we were at the real beach! 🔆AAnonymousGermany
