Hotel Elisenhof Very good 8.2 Beatiful and clean hotel, breakfest taste good. Staff friendly!
Dorint Parkhotel Mönchengladbach Good 7.6 The hotel room was beautiful, and for the most part, very well laid out and designed both for aesthetics and practicallity. It was a large, airy room with two single beds attached. The linens were clean and comfortable. The view from my window was lovely, and I loved being able to open the window, which you cannot do in many hotels. Beautiful scents wafted in through the window, and there was a green roof with all kinds of plants growing on it. I loved the art on the wall of the room, and the large screen behinds which subtle electric light filtered. The breakfast was spectacular and had the most delicious and varied offering of any I've ever had. The salad I had at dinner was also the best salad I've ever had. The outside seating for meals was lovely. Some of the staff were friendly and helpful.
Palace St. George Excellent 8.7 Staff and breakfast were best of my trip.
Hotel Anchovis Good 7 We spent three nights in early July. Our hostess and her two puppies were wonderful. The studio room was spacious and met our needs perfectly. The interior garden is artfully designed and a lovely oasis. The breakfast room is gorgeous, and the food both plentiful and delicious. We were sent along on our final day with hugs and a jar of freshly made FABULOUS marmalade. Highly recommend!
Hotel Rosenmeer Very good 8.3
Fair Hotel Mönchengladbach City Very good 8.4 Near From Train Station, Normal Price
Hotel Tannenhof Very good 8.4 Very comfortable and cosy stay. Hotel is amazingly quiet given its proximity to the sports stadia and I enjoyed very much its individual and traditional feel. Staff were very helpful and friendly, the breakfast was good and it was interesting to see all the families staying there still kitted out in their football gear on Sunday morning! I particularly liked the fish tank, very calming, and the fact there even was a place for a young guest's inflatable horse (the mascot of the local football team) at breakfast.
