One can enjoy nature with the beach, bike path, forest, and then also there are shops and cafes to explore. We also drove 10 minutes to Poland to try an excellent Polish restaurant. In the other direction we walked to Herringsdorf and explored the shops and enjoyed the small Christmas market on the seaside.

Very comfortable travelling between Ahlbeck, Heringsdorf, Bansin and the border by UBB bus. It's free if you have "Kurkarte" - the confirmation of payment for the resort tax. Restaurants usually open till 10 pm - at least in May.AgnieszkaGermany

The spa amenities are lovely, though laid out a little confusingly with respect to the rooms. We enjoyed the living room area and kitchenette in our room, which had not been advertised as a suite.
