The patio is a wonderful place to soak up some sun and have dinner in the evening. The nearby town of Wehr is very pleasant and has everything you need including good bus connections. The open air pool is Olympic sized and has a lovely kids pool too. The surrounding Black Forest hills are great for walking and biking. It's a lovely place to spend some time!

The breakfast was good the staff were very helpful with info on how the get back to Wadshut Tiengen train station after I completed the Schluchtensteig Trail. The hotel is beside the trail about 2 km from the finishing point so at least you know where it is when you complete the trail. Its an easy walk back or a taxi is also option. Good breakfast.

Breakfast with fresh bread and rolls from a local bakery was a nice treat. There are plenty of parking lots on the property and around. The family members were all very friendly and helpful.
