    People don't go to Huaquillas, unless they have to.

    People don't go to Huaquillas, unless they have to. It's a "rough around the edges" border town, not a tourist destination. However, if that's your thing, then you may like it. There's plenty of shopping, street food, etc. It's the closest town to the Aguas Verdes border-crossing, so it's a place to stay if you're not going straight through via bus.
