Anna and her husband were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our included breakfast had a good selection of food, including fresh items from their garden. We opted to have dinner in one evening, and Anna provided a lovely meal. This is an old-school guesthouse in the best possible meaning. Another bonus - the guests there at the time were interesting and pleasant to talk to. If you are looking for somewhere to stay while exploring the nearby national park, Villa River Rose comes recommended. We would definitely stay there again if traveling through.

Beautiful setting. Airconditioning in our room was extremely helpful. By airconditioning I don't mean a simple fan, I mean an airconditioning unit that actually makes the air cooler. Our hostess was very considerate toward anything we might need. Breakfast was plentiful and tasted good, variety, served to us as we sat outside in the garden in the morning. A picture of the specific house we stayed in is one of the photos attached to this review.

Nature, beauty, serenity and amazingly friendly and warm reception by staff.
The river, boats and bicycles made our stay exciting, relaxing and really unforgettable. That was the highlight of our long travel through the Baltics. I am a jogger and it one of the most pleasant and picturesque run that I had ever experienced.
Breakfast was tasty and the summer kitchen where it was served was cozy, clean and stylish!

Villa Rose is located at the edge of the Soomaa National Park. A lovely villa with a large garden and access to the river. Our hosts were warm and welcoming, providing an excellent dinner using their home grown vegetables. They recommended local sites to see and were very helpful when we needed to leave early in the morning. The breakfast was also superb. We wish we had stayed longer to explore the area further.
