Sagadi Manor Hostel, hotel in Vainupea

Located on the grounds of the Sagadi Manor, this hostel offers dormitory rooms with shared bathroom facilities. It has a traditional Finish sauna and an on-site museum featuring cultural artifacts.

This is my second stay and I love the place, the history and the staff here. All are absolutely perfect. Even though there's no kitchen, there's a toaster, boiler, and microwave in the common room for all basic needs. If you're lucky, you might get a room with the view to the manor itself, stunning! Most times, you might get a room to yourself only or to your group, so yay to privacy. Except for in winter, also offer bike rentals which is perfect for exploring the area.

It's exciting being in a beautiful, remote place on an island with an extraordinary history. It was an easy adventure to drive to Vainupea from Tallinn, including a fun trip on the ferry. We'd heard horror stories about waiting in line for hours for the boat in summer but that didn't happen. One of my very favourite places ever!
