Great resort! The common areas are in great condition and everything looks fresh. The room is very big and confortable, although it is a little bit old it still feels luxurious. The bathroom is amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful and there are a lot of public spots near the hotel. There is no queue for the breakfast if you go before 9. Liked the heated pool.
Alcala is a nice village, you can access the promenade directly from the hotel and there are some beaches and natural pools. I recommend the restaurants outside the hotel: Sauco, B on The Rocks and Muelle Viejo.

There are 2 venues at Harbour club, choose harbour club 1 which has the pool, and bar otherwise the other is further up the hill. Very pleased with evening entertainment and restaurant. Lovely quiet area, with plenty of scenery. Accommodation over the shops and restaurants but strict rules about no noise after 10pm. Very quiet in the apartment which looked over the harbour. Hill to climb up to the bus stop. Taxis available but not reliable. Shops and lovely restaurants down in the harbour and walking distance away from the harbour. Beautiful area, nice for walking, although hilly if you have walking difficulties,plenty of nice bars ,restaurants, shops & supermarket’s. Nice marina adjacent to the dramatic los gigantes cliffs. Small black sand beach next to the cliffs.Boat trips from the marina. There are banks in the village, cash machines & money exchange. Plenty of evening entertainment.

It is a quieter location than others on the west coast which suited us, being in our late 50’s! It is quite steep in places so could be a problem for some people. There are plenty of restaurants to suit all pockets and taste, plus plenty of supermarket shops at reasonable priced essential goods. Special shout-out to Moses who made us feel very special and spoiled us with great cocktails at the pool bar. The hotel was very clean and each day our room was cleaned thoroughly. Just one thing to add: the apartment doesn’t have a parking slot inside the condo. The owners can let your car in to drop off the luggage (there is a very steep hill to climb otherwise) but then you have to park outside.
