A beautiful small town right on the Camino de Santiago.
A beautiful small town right on the Camino de Santiago. Full of character, lots of charming architecture, a delightful bakery with breakfast/coffee facilities and friendly staff. Also an hostel El Apostel in the plaza, with a kind owner who took us in late at night...highly recommended.
Everything in this nice, modern and comfortable hotel was perfect. Helena is the best recepcionist ever. So friendly and kind. With a smile on her face. He gave me and brought me on the first flor mini bar fridge full of different drinks. Wonder women. Helena, thank you very much for your smile and kindness. Breakfast was a royal one. All kind of delicious spanish products as cheeses, ham ibericos, breads and rolls and fruits.... The best hotel of all 20 hotels on my Camino since Saint Jean Pied de port. Evan from those with four stars.
Simple, traditional Spanish country hotel, typically dark rooms and furnishings but clean and well presented with a nice large bathroom and a view out over the small square. Easy to park our motorcycle on the paved area alongside the hotel and little chance of it being interfered with. Being on The Camino quite a busy little town but generally quiet. Fromista is also a handy distance from the Santander ferry for onward travel when the ferry gets in mid/late afternoon.
carpeted floor, lovely fan, clean beds and an incredible surprise of a bathtub in the bathroom(I had a leg injury so that was great help :) )!! it was peaceful. really happy staying here, I didnt try but there were food places right below. fromista was a great place to stop on camino with pharmacy supermarket multiple cafes and restaurants and ATMs.
It's conveniently located just off the way. The staff were friendly and helpful ( the lady at reception carried my bag to my room a level of service I haven't received at more 'luxury' hotels on the way). The room was clean and the shower was hot. I just had coffee in the morning but breakfast is available.
Ideally situated just off the trail, this was a well maintained hotel, with a superb en-suite room and comfortable bed. The host didn't speak much English, but was friendly and helpful, and advised me where was best to eat.
The hotel was right in the middle of town just across from the main cathedral and just steps away from the Camino. The room was very pleasant - and they had the nicest towels I've yet used in Spain!
Lovely little place. Comfortable, new and with great service. Also close to all the main attractions in Frómista (aka a couple of amazing Romanic churches). I strongly recommend.
First hotel along the Camino that had a coffee maker in the room. Room was spacious. Nice outdoor patio area with table and chairs and area to dry laundry.
