The city is beautiful. The sites however aren't much to look at. The only two really worth it was the cathedral and the jesuit church. For example, the synagogue, you enter and you've seen it all. That was a recurrent theme in all our visits. You could see a site in two minutes. The Alcazar was closed except for the military museum part of it. Not much to see

Incredible city and cathedral that everyone should visit.
Incredible city and cathedral that everyone should visit.
Don't even think about driving into the old town. Park in one of the huge underground parking lots near the old town and walk or take a cab.

Beautiful, historic city. Very walkable and views everywhere. Every corner exposed something new and amazing. Great restaurants. The cathedrals were amazing, I didn't have time to get to Greco... regret that but I'll be back!

Toledo is a very busy town, but in keeping with its historic character, the streets are very narrow, cobbled, winding, and mostly very steep, except in the central squares. The high proportion of virtually silent electric vehicles, which drive very rapidly and agressively, means that you often find a vehicle on your heels, and you have to step into a doorway to make room for it to pass. It is not a town I would recommend to anyone with any mobility difficulties or sight impairment, as roads and pathways are often in poor repair and can easily cause falls. However, if you enjoy looking around medieval religious buildings there are many to choose from. We visited the Roman Baths, which was interesting, with very informative staff. A good map from the Tourist Information offices, or the hotel, is essential to keep your bearings.
We greatly enjoyed the Tourist Train (which seemed to be really good value compared with the Tourist Bus). We saw the key points in the town, and also were taken beyond the walls to look across the river from a distance.
The highlight of our time there was the day we decided to do a circuit of the town along the riverbank, with only the need for a short stretch on the roads. It was very beautiful, peaceful, and you could see the remains of many interesting buildings and bridges from a different perspective, alongside a range of wildlife and vegetation.

A very interesting hillside town, worth staying several days as opposed to a day trip from Madrid. More historical than Madrid and far easier to walk around ( but there are some hills!). Good walks in the surrounding countryside to admire the town. We came at Christmas and the lights were fantastic and more densely presented than the equivalent in Madrid.
Everything is cheaper than Madrid as well, what’s not to like !
The rooms were very spacious and clean.
Parking is ample. Pool was nice. Reception area had a very nice smell to it.
Cesar Salad was great.
There is a gentleman there called Oscar. He is an amazing gentleman. He worked so hard and went above and beyond to make all of us comfortable over our stay. He is a testament to your Hotel.
Please look into providing training or management opportunities for this man. He will absolutely represent your company in the best possible light.
Oscar… from the Bride and Groom .. Thank you my friend.
This is a unique and beautiful place to stay in Toledo’s historic center. Entre Dos Aguas has only five rooms so you feel and are treated like a guest in the late Paco de Lucia’s home. There is a lovely terrace on the rooftop for drinks as well as a center courtyard and studio area that guests can enjoy. The staff is wonderful — kind and extremely helpful. We were upgraded to a junior suite, which was an unexpected bonus to our stay. The restaurant in the hotel is an unbelievable experience that shouldn’t be missed when in Toledo.
The hotel is located at the edge of the old town and is relatively straightforward to access by car. Although the hotel offers paid parking €27 per night), we opted to park in the large free parking lot about 20 minutes walk outside the old town.
The hotel has an attractive interior with a restaurant and bar. There are also several lounge areas to si in.
The hotel was ain a fairly good location for the major sights in Toledo, although everything required a 10-15 minute walk go get there.
The hotel is outside Toledo, you need a car or a taxi to get to the city centre. Staff readily helped by calling taxis. It is a big hotel with a nice architectural concept but the years have left their marks everywhere, see further down. The 5 stars the hotel has come from what the hotel offers as facilities, like pool with a bar, but do certainly not reflect the dusty decoration, worn-out sofas, broken lamps, etc.
Our room was extremely comfortable. The bed was just like heaven. Air conditioner was very efficient and quiet. The room and bathroom were really big and well designed. We loved cozy bathrobes, slippers, quality bath cosmetics. In addition, this hotel is pet friendly, has a parking garage and is in the walking distance from the old town. We would choose this hotel chain again when in Spain.
The Adolfo is a gorgeous and very high quality hotel with the most amazing location right off of the main square. Just an amazingly location for exploring Toledo. My room was huge with a beautiful balcony and a fantastic shower. The whole staff were great, Eva, Maria, Anna and Veronica are all so kind and helpful and very friendly. I really enjoyed my stay here.
Very beautiful and authentic hotel. Clean room, warm and with the best view. Its near with centre, and with parking (3 min). Also, the hotel has a shared balcony, and view from the room was on the balcony (there are mirror-window, you are feel private).
Breakfast was minimalistic (toast, ham, cheese, sweet pie and coffee).
I highly recommend this hotel.
Beautiful location in the old town of toledo. Quiet and far from the touristic side. Very near to all that was needed. We had breakfat in the old town each morning and found great places to eat for dinner. The hotel is very comfortable and warm. Everything worked well and was very elegantly done. Importantly for us the bed was excellent!
The location was amazing and the lady who runs the hotel was really helpful. Even though she didn’t speak a word of English, we managed to communicate every single time. Very clean room and a wonderful breakfast in the courtyard. I would recommend this place for a great Toledo experience.
We have stayed here before and love the rooms and the views from the rooms. It is easy to park at the hotel and it has everything you need. It is within walking distance of the old town so is ideal for a visit to Toledo
This is a lovely hotel which is in a central position in Toledo.
The staff are great and the building is beautiful.
We were on a driving holiday so the close proximity of underground parking was important.
Very nice Hotel , clean rooms and not far from main cathederal. The rooftop terrace was absolutely fantastic to sit and enjoy the amazing view of Toledo. Staff on front desk were extremely helpful.
It is a wonderful small boutique hotel close to Historical district. Nice rooms wonderful stuff and very good breakfast. The parking is very close which is so rare in Spanish mediaeval towns.
The best and most beautiful hotel I ever stayed in. A lovingly renovated old building, extremely silent and located smack in the center of the town, right next to the incredible cathedral.
The hotel is beautiful when viewed from far. The view you get from the rooms' balcony is gorgeous, as you are able to see Toledo as if it was a painting. The pool is nice.
The location is perfect. The hotel is in the beginning of the old town and looks like a castle. The ambience is traditional for Toledo. The breakfast was good.
Good location next to train station, although rather dated hotel they did do best to keep clean, lots of hot water, towels and great big comfortable bed
