We love this cute town... the views from it are fantastic.
We love this cute town... the views from it are fantastic. There are many cute gift shops with clothes, wicker, jewellery, pictures, pottery, etc. There are a lot of shops selling artists' handicrafts, we could have spent a lot of money there! The restaurants are excellent with really gorgeous food, we definitely recommend Corderra 55. We visited Conil de la Frontera (17 minutes away) with a lovely beach. Also Zahara de los atunes and Barbate are only 20 minutes away. We will go back!

One of the most beautiful and historic towns I have stayed in.
The village is located on the top of the hill with every building painted white.
This location has been settled since at least the Bronze Age and has more recent Moorish and Christian architecture.
It is a quiet and picturesque town with nice restaurants.
The views from the village are beautiful overlooking the surrounding plains. It is close to some spectacular and quiet beaches.

What an amazing place. Not ruined by tourism. We were lucky to be there during their August fiesta. Will give you a true taste of Andalusia.
Would recommend the Oh La La bar for warm hospitality, great drinks and an amazing terrace overlooking the square.

Charming old village on a hill with white houses.
Charming old village on a hill with white houses. Great for exploring by walking around. Night live during the week is reduced to two bars on top of the hill near the church also serving after midnight.
For us as tourists it was a pity we could not enjoy good wine or drink after we returned from dinner. All the restaurants and bars around the old main place close around 23.00.
The narrow streets, sometimes only 1m wide are great for walking. The whole old historic center is small and walking tours are the only option.

I would think though July and August would be too hot.. weather perfect in mid April for our visit.
Beautiful people too, very friendly.
Arrived by Comes bus from Sevilla which was easy and dropped up up the hill so a 5 minute walk from there to our accommodation.

La casa del Torero was, by far, the best place my husband and I have ever stayed. The location is majestic - sweeping views of the countryside and Vejer in the distance. The grounds and pool were beautiful. Bruno and Christophe were INCREDIBLE hosts. Bruno was always a WhatsApp message away…he even washed some of my laundry. The included breakfast was delicious and we also requested a dinner which was at a similar level to a fancy restaurant. I could write so much more!
Beautiful interior with lovely small sitting area tucked around the interior. The small hotel had the feeling of staying in a friend’s home rather than a hotel. Room was spacious with a patio that overlooked the pool and a view of the coast. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was above average. We had dinner at the restaurant one night and the Moroccan themed menu was very good.
If you love dreamy rooms in the best location in town, this is definitely your place! Beautiful apartments with everything you need, very comfortable to rest after a day exploring the most beautiful town in the Andalucía region. The staff was very friendly and helpful, making out one day/night stay a memorable one! Will definitely come back next time we visit Vejer de la Frontera!
Very quaint and quiet boutique hotel set at the heart of Vejer de la frontera. Surrounded by great places to eat and historic walks through the town itself. The hotel itself was lovely, large and very clean comfortable rooms. The staff were so helpful and friendly.
A little hard to find but superb position with amazing views. Charming boutique hotel with friendly helpful staff. Lovely courtyard with exotic plants. Perfectly positioned pool, great for swimming.
Dinners excellent.
Easiest check-in and check-out process I've experienced on this two-week trip in Spain, where it is common to undergo extended bureaucratic processes for everything surrounding hotels, car rentals, flights, etc.
The hotel is very stylish and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s possibly in the best possible location in Vejer, especially if you are a wheelchair user like me.
The hosts were excellent. The property was a little difficult to locate. The rooms were very clean and tidy. The walk up the hill to Vejer de la Frontera was most enjoyable.
Super, quirky town house in a great location in the beautiful town of Vejer de la Frontera. The owner was very helpful and the house was spacious with good facilities.
