This hotel offered great value for the money. It was extremely clean, easily accessed, had very fresh, crisp linens, and a comfortable bed. The towels were huge! A little treat for us was the TV, offering movies in English, something not always available in French hotels.

Impressive sight, in the heart of a region considered like the "Birthplace" of humankind (Cro-Magnon and earlier cave drawings) and of HIGH pre-medieval interest (troglodyte, etc.). Moreover, this is Perigord, home of the duck liver.

Beautiful village and so well taken care of. Loads of things to do from the village in the nearby area, other villages, wine and cheese tasting, shopping. River cruise on a nice sunny day was great. There are loads of restaurants and a stroll after dinner is nice too.

Kayacking down the river, caves, town markets, and old towns. It is right across the street from a wonderful reataurant, O Plaisir de Sens. Ate one night at the hotel and it was good. Had amazing meals other. Having an adult and kids pool and tennis courts was fun. Newly renovated rooms felt so crisp and clean. We loved our stay!
