Loved everything especially the beach, the port, the restaurants, the boat trips. My husband used a wheelchair some of the time and easy to get around the town. The staff in the tourist office were excellent.

A pleasant small town on the lagoon, nice little beaches good for children as shallow and do not shelve too steeply, but no great character. Mostly plenty of free parking. It was satisfactory as a base to explore the nearby area and towns & villages as well as the local environment. There is a large shellfish industry in the lagoon - especially oysters, mussels and similar, so this features heavily on menus. As surrounding area is very flat & there are cycle routes which are not roadside, this could be a good option for exploring & working up an appetite for the seafood. We found Sete passe, but enjoyed the food in Les Halles. Our favorite town on the lagoon was Marseillan

Brand new, beautiful view of the sea (I know it is the Thau, not the sea), sunny private terrace, really comfortable beds, a "rain shower", and facilities to enjoy tea and coffee in your hotelroom. If you don't mind a short walk, it is also within walking distance of the harbour where a lot of restaurants are located. Our tip: Rendezvous.KimberlyNetherlands

The bed was extremely comfortable. All the equipment provided was excellent and well maintained. We found many apartment owners at Port Mezua very friendly and welcoming. Meze is a lovely town with excellent choice of restaurants and shops. Also lots of places around to visit. Sete is a must.LizFrance
