This is a great place to stay particularly if you like to cycle. In one easy day cycle route 4 takes you to some great places including; Mont Saint-Michel with all the wonderful sea views, and the very old stone windmills and churches in the area.

You would need a car to get about, but saying that when you start to drive around there are so many lovely villages you go through which makes it so pretty and you get to see a lot of interesting places you might have missed.

Of course the great attraction is Mont St.
Of course the great attraction is Mont St. Michel but on relative short driving distance there are many other interesting places to visit. Also the famous beaches of Normandy are only a day trip away. All in all a great place to be. Although Mont Saint Michel is a major attraction, the area of Roz-sur-Couesnon does not feel crowded and has a nice quiet and leisure feel.

Having said that it has a certain charm and the hostess is extremely helpful with local information. We particularly liked the fact that our room was warm with the heating on as the weather had changed a little with it being early October. There was lots of parking and the breakfast was as described in previous reviews, just quite outstanding. Very good value for money.

She was super helpful with sharing with us the restaurant to eat good French dinner around the hotel in Beavoir. She also mentioned to us where to travel while we were checking out (hidden gem of Normandy). And the food she cooked was super tasty (the breads, the fresh jams, the crepes, beverages etc.). Loved it!

We spent 1 night there with my boyfriend, we had a delicious dinner at the restaurant and breakfast the next morning was great too + the staff was very nice. Very peaceful location, surrounded by nature. We rented bikes from the hotel to go to the Mont Saint Michel the next day, it was really great - I definitely recommend it!
