    • We liked the quirky decor and the helpfulness of the staff plus beautiful peak district surroundings

    • From homemade cakes to the relaxing atmosphere, it was just lovely. The rooms are beautifully decorated, bathroom was luxurious. The location was ideal for exploring the Peak District.

    • We loved the hosts Emily and David, the location was great, the breakfast was from local businesses so that added to the homely feel of the place. The customer service was outstanding, we felt at home as soon as we walked in, the hosts helped us find a pub to eat at even though it was valentines and incredibly busy. I'm definitely staying here again next time I'm in the peak district!!

    • view from my window trees and flowers and birdsong proximity to the Care Home I was visiting to see an elderly uncle. good food friendly ambience Derbyshire voices . . took me back to childhood when every summer holiday was spent in Bakewell, nearby.
