breakfast was a bag of 4 pastries that ran out on the first day of our 2 day stay (so not supplied for 2 days) and already opened and used butter and jam kept in the fridge which we did not want to use. Also not sure if the orange juice had been opened as the lid was loose so didn't drink this.

Lovely stay, our host was very accomodating and made us feel warm and welcome. We stayed for a wedding and sadly had to leave early morning but would have loved to stay longer. Sandwiches were made for us to take with us which was so kind and thoughtful as we would miss breakfast. Thank you very much

Castle Hedingham makes a great base for touring the North Essex and South Suffolk countryside and has a number of good pubs serving food in the village and the wider area. Lots of wonderful historic thatched cottages to see nearby
