The Beaufort Hotel Good 7.3 Easy to book, friendly staff, great location
Castle View Hotel Very good 8.3 1.Normal check in is 2pm but because we were going to Chepstow Races we were hoping we could leave our bags. Instead the charming owner let us check in, and have our room, three hours early; this gave us an opportunity to freshen up and npack before the meeting. 2.The breakfast was lovely. 3. Often when an establishment is called "SeaView" "Riverside" etc you really need to use your imagination! This hotel is certainly well named; from our comfortable room we had a wonderful view of Chepstow Castle from an ivy surrounded window.
Wye Valley Hotel Excellent 8.6 Accomodation was very good. Food quality matched the five star hygiene rating.
Willowbrook Guesthouse Wonderful 9.3 Great stay. Very helpful, friendly hostess. Nothing was too much trouble. Thoroughly enjoyed.
The Three Tuns Very good 8.5 Watching the sun set behind Chepstow castle from the beer garden of the Three Tuns Hotel
Two Rivers Lodge by Marston’s Inns Very good 8.5 Great location, short walk into town (hill might be challenge to some). The restaurant / pub had good choices and the full English breakfast that was included with our room rate was top notch. We met two old friends of mine for dinner and drinks, perfect setting, good food and drinks. For 75 pounds for two including full English breakfast this was very good value. Friendly staff !
The Coach and Horses Inn Very good 8.4 When I'm away on business I like a comfy bed and a friendly atmosphere. At the Coach & Horses this was exactly what I got. The regulars that visit this Inn are very welcoming to outsiders and the new owners are helpful and very accommodating. It was a cold night so I didn't venture out but the food was excellent- I highly recommend the steak & ale pie with delicious home cooked chips (don't tell my wife!) Talking of which I will definitely bring her here for a weekend break as she likes the Forest of Dean area.
Broadrock Exceptional 9.8 Myself and 3 friends stayed at Broadrock for one night on the weekend for a girls night away and we weren't at all disappointed! Richard was an excellent host who even before we got there had helped us out my booking a table for us at a local restaurant and then even gave us a lift there when we arrived. The accommodation is done out beautifully and everything you could want from a b&b. Comfy beds, gorgeous clean bathroom and excellent service overall. The breakfast was particularly fab and Richard prepared us a lovely locally sourced breakfast after a wonderful lie in. The area is beautiful and would highly recommend

Hotels that guests love in Chepstow

    • The welcome from the staff & locals. The location near the castle and town centre. The food was good value and the beer was top notch.

    • The position is perfect for Chepstow and surrounding area. We enjoy the races and will definitely be staying next time we visit. The room was clean and good value for money- it was the cheapest in the area on bookings and had a lovely atmosphere and very helpful and friendly staff. We ate at the pub and the food was good value honest pub grub. Breakfast was also really good. Thank you!

    • Town centre location with parking and nice bar

    • Although brief our stay was very enjoyable. The staff were friendly and accommodating and our room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Lovely location right next to the castle and a short drive to the shops and town centre (or a fairly steep walk if that doesn't phase you) Definitely recommended.

    • First time we have actually stopped in Chepstow, we normally pass by on route to Aberystwyth area where my sister lives. Needed somewhere to stay after the Wales v All Blacks match on the 22nd November before heading north to pop in to see her on the Sunday. Very pleased by the friendly welcoming staff. Despite our late arrival, staff went out of their way to make us sandwiches. Stunning location near the river
