An ancient village with two good pubs and a wonderful house in the centre where the gardens are opened to the public regularly. Good walking in the region and for using it as a base for Canterbury visits and for exploring the North Downs.

A beautiful Kent village with lots of history.
A beautiful Kent village with lots of history. Films have been made here and the buildings are amazing. A walk around the village is a must + a visit to the local tea shop or pub (or both). The castle is worth a visit. Excellent location.

The owner Michelle takes care of the guests with with love and an extreme eye for detail. The welcome cookies, the shower soaps and the soft and fresh linen for the comfortable beds. There was plenty of information and tips for her guests. The location is superb on the old square of the charming village Chilham, opposite of the White Horse, very traditional pub and over 600 years old.

Nice little shower gel, shampoo and conditioner toiletries. Tea tray also included biscuits. The hosts were congenial and concerned about my needs. Chilham is perhaps the most historic of the villages I have visited along the way.

The cottage itself is a charming historic building, full of character. The interior has been beautifully refurbished and is an exceptionally comfortable place to stay.
