Hotels guests love in Glastonbury

  • Superb quality guest house recently taken over by Paula and Simon who really know how to look after people. Accommodation is spotless. Great size breakfast room and superb breakfasts. Ideally situated to tour the area or just a 5 min walk into Glastonbury, Abbey and Tor. Good luck to Paula and Simon and keep up the good work.

  • Simon and Paula provided us with a lovely place to stay for our weekend in Glastonbury. It was my partner's birthday and they even bought her some chocolates! They couldn't have been more welcoming and the room was great. Would definitely use again. The bed was especially comfortable!!

  • We just enjoyed everything! Such a unique place to go and the hotel makes you feel like you are in a different era, in a different place! Absolutely perfect and it was the first time I felt like home at a hotel! Defenetly going back! Excellent delicious breakfast, excellent service, the decoration both of the room and the whole hotel/ pub made us feel like kings! You just don't get that feeling anywhere else! Also you don't usually get the opportunity to stay in a building from the 15th century! Just amazing!

  • This Hotel has great character, atmosphere and fantastic food. Simon is so popular for his evening meals, the staff had to turn people away. The staff don't 'stand on ceremony' they wear jeans, shirts, trainers which is the great 'down to earth' atmosphere me & hubby liked very much. Simon & his kitchen staff do delicious meals, so I would recommend The Hawthorns for meals. Sheets & towells were spotlessly white, the bed & pillows comfortable.

  • Greg was a charming host and made sure we had everything we needed. The hotel is well located, close to the town centre and the Tor. The room was perfectly clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was delicious and copious. We had a lovely time and we'd definitely stay there again if we went back to Glastonbury.

Haydn House Superb 9.3 This was the best stay in Glastonbury so far. We've stayed before, at another place, but this one definitely topped it. A *very* friendly welcome, nice and very helpful owners, the Abbey suite is absolutely wonderful: so spacious, beautiful, absolutely quiet and a wonderful view of the abbey ruins at both and night is priceless. We'll definitely be back!
