The charm of this old pub cannot go unnoticed. Inside although full of period features, it offers a comfortable dining and drinking experience serving pub classics but with some fine additions to the menu.
Rooms have everything you need, comfy beds and staff are very welcoming and attending. The breakfast was also lovely and cooked to order together with a small buffet serving good quality basics. It was a shame it wasn’t warmer when we stayed as the garden was also looking very nice and welcoming. Lots of greenery and our room had a view over the meadows. And dog friendly…Will be back !

Location for Sandringham Estate and Snettisham and Heacham. The food was good too. The staff were helpful and polite.
Owned by His Majesty The King, this Victorian bed and breakfast is only a 2-minute drive from his Estate at Sandringham.

As we were visiting Sandringham the location was perfect. It was literally a two minute drive to either of the two main car parks near Sandringham House. Gwen provided us with an excellent full English breakfast on both mornings and our room
was exactly as described on the website. We were on the first floor at the front of the house in a bedroom with both a double and a single bed. Our private bathroom was across the landing and dressing gowns were provided to protect our modesty. The property has a narrow driveway at the side for off-road parking for visitors. Around a 100 yards away is the Feathers Hotel which we visited twice for evening meals. The food was very good and reasonably priced. Nothing was too much trouble for Gwen (and her very friendly dog) and we would happily recommend this property to anyone looking to stay near Sandringham or the surrounding area. Thank you Gwen and we hope to visit you again in the future.
For all you runners there is a well attended park run every Saturday morning that starts near the kids play area near the car parks. A nice way to start the day !

Our room no.11 unused on leaving at 9.00 p.m. spent less than 3 hours in the room therefore: no breakfast no privacy you charged us £140.00 our disabled son could not use his room 2 at all and was forced to sit on a bench in our room 11- thus decreasing the amenity of that room also.

Lovely north Norfolk village.
Lovely north Norfolk village. It would be greatly enhanced by having a pub or a hotel bar that opened reliably. Lovely shop/coffee shop when it is open. Need a car as not enough in the village to fully occupy a holiday.

We walked round Great Bircham and found a very pretty spot with benches round a duck pond. There is also a shop / cafe in the village. We traveled out to Brancaster and enjoyed some time at the staithe watching people boating. Here you can buy fresh shell fish and enjoy an ice cream.

It's just a pretty little village - nothing there apart from the hotel and a good shop. It's a good base for touring the locality.
The windmill was a disappointment - kids may enjoy it, but not much interest for 2 adults.
Well located for access to many places . A lovely well kept hotel with attention to detail in all aspects of our stay. The Manager and her staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were exceptional and evening meals had plenty of choice of food and drinks. Room had everything to make our stay enjoyable TV and hot drinks facility. We look forward to returning !
Everything! It was immaculate and the staff were genuinely caring and helpful. My only comment NOT criticism is perhaps some piped music in the dining room and bar. It could almost be classed as a boutique hotel - just some gentle music in the background. Thank you for such a fabulous Bed snd Breakfast experience
Nice big room and bathroom with a great view. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the hotel wasclean and tidy. A great location which was quiet during the night. Lots of places to visit from the hotel in all directions, we couldn’t have chosen a better hotel.
The staff were great and would do anything for you. The hotel and the outdoor areas were lovely and comfortable. The rooms were clean and a good size. The breakfast each morning was amazing. Quality breakfast that kept us going until dinner time.
Food is excellent - both dinner and breakfast
Room size give a sense of quality to the hotel
Nicely proportioned- Lots of room around bed, no issue for space in bathroom
Nice outside space
Friendly staff
The hotel is in a great location for exploring the area. The hotel staff were excellent and very helpful, the dining area is well spaced and well lit, the breakfasts were superb and always freshly prepared.
Modern and stylish hotel. Superior room was large and had a spacious modern bathroom.
Breakfast was delicious. Large car park at the rear of the property.
