A lovely quiet place, we were upgraded , a stunning room, very comfortable, and owners were friendly and catered for my gluten intolerance . Would recommend, perfect location for exploring. Pub food was lovely and generous portions.

A lovely quiet location ideally situated for walking with many trails to choose from literally just outside the front door. Stunning surroundings and an ideal getaway from the hustle and bustle. Relaxing, good standard of food in and around the local area but within easy reach of the main motorways. The Hood Arms, The Farmers Arms, The Lamb Inn are highly recommended. Holford is a really pretty village and an ideal base to explore the Quantocks. The village has a friendly pub, The Plough Arms which offers good value food and there is a hotel, Combe House where we had afternoon tea in the garden.

The property was very good and the surroundings and furnishings were top quality. It would be very difficult to get to the hotel without transport as it is about a mile off the main road, down a single track road and very remote. If you like peace and quiet and solitude it would be ideal.

The evening meal was exceptional, so much so that we skipped the full breakfast the next day, limiting ourselves to the continental breakfast which was more than adequate and quite delicious. The hotel could be found at the end of a narrow road, opening up to a large car park.
