Very comfortable bed, well furnished clean room, very quiet, everything we needed.
Pretty Kent village and very convenient for Scotney Castle (...
Pretty Kent village and very convenient for Scotney Castle (NT) nearby. Teise and Coffee cafe in the village, very good breakfast, particularly useful as the Vineyard where we stayed overnight did not serve breakfast on weekdays, only weekends. However, it does not open until 10am and is closed on Mondays. Some lovely old buildings in Lamberhurst and near the Vineyard Pub is the Lamberhurst Vineyard. Would probably not stay at the Vineyard again due to its proximity to the road and also the steep spiral staircase joining the two floors.

The hotel was easy to find. Stayed one night.
The hotel was easy to find. Stayed one night. Room was well presented, with kitchen area ( kettle, sink, microwave, coffee/tea). Would be useful for longer stay, as no cooked food on site. Modern , clean shower room. Great taxi service suggested to transport us to The Small Holdings restaurant for special meal.

What a terrible room!
What a terrible room! A so called a 'luxury suite' and a complete misrepresentation coming in at £130. It was impossible to stand upright in the bedroom as it was in the roof space and so hot. We moved to another suite that was a little smaller and a bit cheaper but nonetheless we were not able to benefit from the reduced price.
The living area was approx 7ft x 8ft and in that space was a spiral staircase up to the bedroom which was very difficult to negotiate and impossible for anyone with any infirmity. You could only walk past the side of the bed by turning your feet sideways on the side nearest the staircase, meaning that the feet were catching in the rungs of it. It was positively dangerous and would have been impossible for a large person to negotiate. The window blind was broken and only lifted from one side and had clearly been like that for some time. The handle to get into the room was nearly hanging off, instead of 6 screws holding it on there were only 2 and they were virtually dropping out.
In short this is without doubt the worst accommodation I have ever encountered and I feel very aggrieved that sums such as I mention are being charged for accommodation such as this.
I cut my stay short and couldn't wait to get away.
Lovely location and room. First time I have stayed in a hotel room with an upstairs bedroom (Scotney) so that was different. Eat in the restaurant the evening of our stay and it was very tasty. The highlight of the room was the shower. Could of stayed in there all day.
The Ramblers breakfast as one of the best breakfasts I have had in a Pub or hotel. It was brilliantine nice view
Clean room shower. Sitting area downstairs with little patio area outside. Stairs could be difficult, you need keep your suitcase downstair.
Very clean, well equipped, recently refurbished to a good level. Would be great for a longer stay as more independence than a hotel. Several pubs in vicinity but have to drive to them as no footpath or lights on busy road.
We were pleasantly surprised at how cute and clean the living room, bathroom and upstairs bedroom was. I usually stay in hotels but I am very pleased that I opted for this bed and breakfast. Great value for money.
Amazing boutique hotel, just 4 rooms within the pub grounds. Rooms have a small terrace which is a lovely bonus and freshly cooked breakfast. Great value for money and within walking distance to scotney Castle.
Very comfortable room, spacious, good beds, bed linen ans pillows, nice bathroom ans super clean. The mini kitchen is good as well. Plus: there's a great playground area right next the hotel if you have kids.
Great set up for staying away during the pandemic. No need to enter hotel to go to room. Lovely interesting room. Great outdoor eating area - lovely dinner and breakfast - all good.
Room was clean and the hotel conveniently located. Full kitchen facilities provided in the room, but as a motel, worth noting that no breakfast is available on site.
I stay at a lot of hotels of differing standards & I have to say that out of all of them, this had to be the cleanest room I think I've ever stayed in.
