Lauder is a great village with everything you need.
Lauder is a great village with everything you need. Spotty Dog for coffee and a Scotch egg, Flat Cat Gallery for gift shopping and cake. There is a butchers, post office, pharmacy and co-op. As well as a beautiful church, castle and surrounding areas with lots of history and natural beauty. An underrated gem

Excellent accommodation within a beautiful building of great historical significance and set in magnificent countryside. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful making our stay relaxing and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend the castle tour. Lauder was a village with butcher, bakery , deli shop, cafe with art and gifts, eco shop, restaurant , church , post office, fish and chip shop, and Co-op. Lovely meal at Black Bull, the deli shop had delicious cheeses, treats and wine.
