With an industrial past and a modern outlook, the complex fabric of Manchester is interlaced with interesting museums, English pubs and shopping centres.
Dash straight into the luxurious Selfridges and Triangle departments stores before checking out the old-English charm of the Shambles.
Manchester wouldn’t be the same without its 2 famous football clubs and fans can go wild at either of the Old Trafford or City of Manchester Stadiums. Music fans will adore the many shows performed at the Manchester Arena, the largest of its type in Europe, and the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra.
The cultural foundations of this predominantly red-brick city are on display at the Manchester Museum and the People’s History Museum. If art is you preference, the extensive pre-Raphaelite collection at the Manchester Art Gallery is a sight to behold.
Whether you’re flying into Manchester International Airport for business or partying in one of the 500 bars in city, Booking.com’s hotels and apartments can match your accommodation needs.
“Location is really great - few minutes to the station and 5 minutes by walk to the city centre and shopping area. Strongly recommend”
“the place was amazing, for the price we paid I think it was just too much, the area was clean, we had friends come in and the was no problems with the staff, sound proof walls, so when we mad noise the other guest never even noticed and we were about 15 people getting ready to go out. My girls birthday was executed by these apartments thanks very much for everything!”
“Lovely hotel nice staff could not do enough!loved the room will be back again”
“Our 3 hour journey took a nightmare 8 hours because of someone threating to jump off a bridge on the M62 and then we discovered we were booked into a deluxe room instead of an executive one which was for a birthday treat (I must stress it was not the hotels fault). SAMANTHA on reception was an absolute star! She was professional, cheerful and very helpful indeed. She resolved everything, sorted our room out and arranged a complimentary later checking out time for us. Nothing was a bother to her and because of the service we received from Samantha we will definitely stay there again. I hope the senior management recognise the excellent job their front line staff do and value all their hard work because we certainly did. Thanks again Samantha!”
“- welcome tray - very friendly helpful staff -character of the room”
“Cheap and cheerful not plush and expensive. I dont know why there is negativity about this hotel... People seem to forget that it is a 3 star hotel. when booking I chose not to go for a room without a window and went for an smoking executive double room. So I dont know why people are complaining about their room not having a window. I arrived at 10am (before the time was up to cancel my booking) and I asked to see the room. The lady behind the desk was great and helpful. she offered to get one of the staff to take me up to have a look when the room was ready. Check in time is supposed to be 2pm but by 11:30am I was in my room on the 6th floor. It was a smoking room but I found no adverse smell on entering. I had to get out on the 5th floor and walk up a winding stair case to the 6th... this was fine with me and I had been told about it at the desk so I could have chosen differently if I had wanted. the hotel is perfectly situated in the city centre so noise from the street is to be expected especially at the weekend... ask for a room at the back or on a higher floor if noise is a concern. Also it has free wifi in the rooms. I have no problem recommending the hotel and would stay there again.”
“If you need to stay near old Trafford this is the best place”
“The first impression of the hotel include the reception is great, very beautiful. The room was excellent. Everything was gorgeous: stunning bathroom and the rest of the room.”
“Location, 5 mins walk from main station”
“Friendly staff, central location, cleanliness, facilities”
“Every things were Excellent. I do recommend this hotel to any one planning to stay in Manchester. With no doubt, it is the best hotel.”
“a treat to stay in a new hotel with great facilities”
“Different from the other top hotels in Manchester ,very quirky”
“Was absolute value for money. Nice place very close to the city centre not lacking anything important. Perfect for young people who don't care for luxury but want a good time in Manchester at a low cost. Didn't meet any staff but all contact with the landlord was friendly and swift.”
“Fabulous interesting building. Our room at the front of the hotel was warm, spacious, very high-ceilinged and had a fireplace. Location is great for Manchester City Centre and there are plenty of coffee shops around if you don't opt for the hotel breakfast.”
“-Hotel in the city centre very close to the Piccadilly Station -Staff was very very nice and polite - The room wasn't big but enough and you have everything what you need I'll be back in Manchester soon and I will book this hotel again”
“A nice, clean, modern hotel with easy access to the city centre via the metro system. The rooms are small but clean and functional and are extremely good value for money. The staff were very helpful and it has on site parking for £3.00 although if full there is a long stay car park next door for £5.00 per night. Limited free street parking available although this being Manchester I would be careful where you park it.”
“Great location close to the shops and bars in Manchester city centre. Friendly staff. Traditional British hotel.”
