Lovely peaceful location.
Lovely peaceful location. Plenty of places to visit and so close to Cardiff and Swansea but the small towns are pretty, worth a visit. Lots of local amenities and an abundance of good restaurants. Lots of things going on even out of season.

Changed quite a lot over the years. Plenty shops and resterants , Sumerset Arms do lovely meals and the staff are amazing! My husband recommends the ribs 😋 Port Talbot is easy to get around. We would avoid going to the Twelve Knights the place has really gone down hill since we stayed last year especially the food.

The hotel looked a little run down on the outside - a bit like the area around it. Inside the hotel, however, it was clear that the staff and the facilities were excellent and everyone was friendly and helpful. The location, beside the park, the promenade and the beach, is wonderful. We found that there was lots to do nearby and we had a lovely time. Food in the hotel (breakfast and dinner) was adequate and there were lovely restaurants and bars close at hand.

A good location that allows visitors to travel to many places of interest across south Wales. The steel works is a real eyesore with its belching out of emissions, especially if visiting the sea front.

(I'm not a vegetarian but the vegetarian sausage was lovely). Pool with complimentary towels. Room was fine with a great sea view. Two lifts (which we needed as on the third floor) Solidly built building so no noise from outside the room (unlike some hotels with paper thin walls) We've stopped in a Best Western before and will do so again Will also stop here again the next time we're in the area.

Had a faulty shower in room 5 but messaged owners and they had a handyman to come and fix it, and whilst is was getting fixed they allowed us to use another room to have a shower, super fast wifi, very quiet after 9:30pm. What a beautiful family ran company, i planned for a 2 night stay but due to unforeseen circumstances I had to drive back home and they have offered 1 night free.
