I stayed at this hotel with my wife for one night as I was singing at the nearby Wilton House on two consecutive evenings and didn't wish to drive back to London in between. The staff were excellent - very helpful and friendly and the standard of English was never a problem. The room was large, comfortable and very clean, with all the mod cons you would expect. We were informed on our arrival that there would be a wedding reception in the bar until 11pm, but in spite of our room being next to the bar there was no noise at all when we went to there at 10.30pm. It is about a mile away from the Cathedral and you can walk there avoiding the main roads. Plenty of parking. The dinner was of an excellent standard. Great place to stay.… More
