Skegness has a wonderful long sandy beach. It’s definitely the main attraction. By day there’s the obvious huge number of amusement arcades and a funfair on the seafront. Plenty of small independent shops and cafes but not many restaurants. At night the lack of restaurants is even more acute. Having to use a car to dine out is not what most people want.

Skegness is a nice compact seaside town.
Skegness is a nice compact seaside town. Unfortunately many grand hotels have turned to other ventures. There are many good pubs and bars. Good fish and chips are plentiful but that is not all of it. I recommend Steak and Stuff restaurant .

Skegness is all about family.
Skegness is all about family. Everything is close by in one area. We had been staying for 3 nights at Butlins but wanted to explore the town. Its got a great shopping area and is so much cheaper than the north west. There was so many bargains in the shops. Even the Fish Chips and peas was only £4.99 amd you pay more for that for just a fish in Morecambe. Really enjoyed it and even the pubs are accomodating with kids.

Nice welcome and everything was explained quickly and clearly. Very clean room with clean minimal decor (which I like) and tea & coffee in the room.
Good shower with easy-to-control hot water and the towels were like having a cuddle, very good quality. The bed was nice and comfortable.
Easy access with keys after hours and a great location just a 3-4 mins walk from the seafront and town centre.
Lovely friendly guesthouse, happy to stay again.
Very friendly welcoming hosts who can't do enough for you who provide a superb value for money guesthouse. The property itself has free parking and is very clean and well situated in Skegness near to the town centre and sea front
A superb, freshly cooked English breakfast is available with cereals, fruit juice, toast and tea, and coffee, for small additional cost, and well worth it.
Highly recommended and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
The B&B is located very close to Skegness Town centre literally with 5 minutes walk.
There is on site parking which is brilliant.
Mack and his wife are extremely welcoming and friendly with a lovely B&B to stay in.
The room was extremely clean and comfortable with everything you needed and a lovely cooked breakfast.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Thank you Mack and we hope to stay with you again soon.
what wasn't there to like, the lodge was stunning, had everything we needed and more. one of the most peaceful places we as a family have stayed, the hot tub and dishwasher were a great hit with the kids :). not far from fantasy island and Skegness raceway. the tvs in each room made life easier too.
The Ivernia, has a lovely location, is at the southern end of Skegness, away from well basically all the holiday home (caravan) parks, but is honestly a five-minute walk from the sea or the busy Town Centre. The staff were very professional but also friendly which is becoming rare these days
Very good hotel!
We slept very well, because of fresh sea air 😁
Near Tesco, Aldi, LIDL, 5 min from main beach and street.
Unlimited breakfast, you can take whatever you want without any limitations ❤️
Room is bright, with coffee machine and tea.
A typical seaside B&B in an excellent location for access to the seafront & town centre. Good, unrestricted on street parking. Lovely, friendly & helpful owner. Good breakfast.
