“Where do I even begin with this?
This is a beautiful hotel, it reminds me of when i was a kid and went on holidays, the days where people are still friendly, caring and make your holiday so perfect. If that is what you are after, look no more and get booked in. The hotel is ran by a legend of a guy called Rob who literally bends his back backwards for his guests. He was so understanding when on the first day we accidently checked into the hotel next door and hours later realised and checked in properly, but he was so understanding and even waited for us and was concerned and texted us constantly worried about us to make sure we were ok and we didnt turn up on the time he expected us. Come on who does that these days? He put himself out for us even though that day was his wifes birthday. So once we were settled in the right hotel, i'll just say it was comfortable, rooms were lovely and cozy, bathrooms were spotless and spacious, no loud noises etc. Just perfect
They have a lovely sea view lounge, with a tv, sofas, and a bar. They have an honesty rule in place so you can help yourself to the selection of spirits, beers, ciders, soft drinks, crisps, etc. Rob just asks that you write it down so it can be settled up at the end. Again who does this nowadays? and the drinks to be fair were reasonably priced and some were locally sourced.
The hotel included free breakfast and im not lying it has to be one of the best breakfasts ive ever had on holiday. you get continental and on top of that there is a menu, that you can order whatever you like such as omelettes, fry ups, French toast, egg and soldiers, etc, plus many more.
Every little thing is locally sourced such as eggs, meat, bread, butter, jams etc, everything down to the milk is all local produce and you can taste the difference and the quality is awesome.
Rob is the chef and he is so good, the food was presentable and soooo delicious.”
