2km out of Nafplio and no safe walking path into town so took a taxi or drove in and out. Free plentiful parking at hotel. Cheap taxis here approx €5 per trip Room comfortable. Beautiful balcony Wonderful shower. Continental and Greek breakfast was good. Beautiful gardens and scenery Lots to see in Nafplio

Very friendly staff (Mrs Dimitra), great location, great budget room with all necessary facilities. Ours also had a balcony which was a plus. Dont miss to visit their restaurant called Wild Duck!

The view was nice on the roof. The staff was exceptional! Decor is nice and a delicious breakfast. Alex running our baggage up 4 flights was incredible!

The view from my room made me feel like I was a character in E M Forster’s novel, A Room With a View🙃; the domes, the tiled roofs, the distant mountains, quant courtyard below. Everything was well cared for and decorated nicely, the building is interesting, the staff helpful, especially Vasilis in reception-thank you for your good cheer Vasilis. As it is tucked up some extra stairs it was quiet at night, away from tavernas and street noise so I could leave windows open. It was easy to walk to the harbour, beach, castle and fort as well as the rest of the old city.

Polyxenia is an 1850, restored mansion set in one of the scenic alleys of Nafplio. It offers traditionally furnished rooms with free Wi-Fi just a few minutes’ walk from the central Syntagma Square.
