Very nice hosts, willing to help for everything, had joyful discussion in the evening. Beach and a very nice bar are just 1 min away, as well as many places to eat (went by car, 5-10 mins). Very beautiful olive trees and nice courtyard.

Everything! We felt like we were on vacation at our uncle and aunt's house in Thassos. We felt just like home! Skala Kallirakhis is a quiet village and there is a small beach near the house. A 5-minute walk away is the Aletras supermarket, which is very well stocked and you can find everything you want. Immediately nearby there is also a bakery where they have fresh bread and good coffee, not to mention delicious pastries and sweets. Valia House has one bedroom with bathroom with shower, open space living and kitchen with a couch that can be a comfy bed, a big yard with tables and chairs, a swing and a barbeque place. The kitchen is very well equipped with stove, microwave, sandwich maker, big fridge and everything you need. There is a large closet where you can put your clothes and other staff. Also, there is another bathroom outside with a bathtub and a washing machine. We walked all over the island and had a nice stay, visiting the beaches and eating very good food at the restaurants on the island. Mrs. Giota spoiled us all the time, being with two children, she also offered us toys and this helped us a lot, the children had something to do in the yard, in the house, especially since we caught a few cloudy days. I have no words to describe how good we felt and how beautiful it was. I have met such a host very, very rarely, Mrs. Giota is an angel of a woman with a wonderful soul! If we ever come back to Thassos we definitely stay again at Valia House, there isn't any other option for us! We recommend with all our heart this house! Thank you Mrs Giota for everything!!! You are one of a kind! 💜

Everything was good. The house is lovely. We stayed with friends and our dog. The dog is old and there was no problem to stay in the house when we were on the beach.

    Skala Kallirachis is very small town.

    Skala Kallirachis is very small town. Not for young people actully for familly is good. We have there supermarket, bakery and also a lot of restaurant. Price is not hight or not low. And also very near port have beach is very nice and not too much crowd. İf you not have private car your job is not easy. You can reny bike and motor or car. But for this you can go prinos port. Discover bus time from Skala Kallirachis city centre and ask personal.

    The village served us as a base for a trip around the island...

    The village served us as a base for a trip around the island. I'm not sure this is the ideal location for that. The village itself is no more endearing than that. It has a good bakery and a convenient grocery store. The restaurants were not to our taste. We loved the villa we stayed in and it was the reason why we chose this village.

    Very quiet place.

    Very quiet place. If you are looking for a good rest it is one of the best place. There are only 4 or 5 restaurants near by and just 3 little markets. If you wanna go to good beach you will need to drive like 30-45 km one way. For me personally it was just great.
