Where's the best place to view the skyline in Hong Kong?

Netherlands Mats, Netherlands

The Avenue of Stars and the top floor bar of the ICC Building. Go for the Sky100 bar if you want a nice setting or for Ozone if you want a hip, trendy bar.

Hotels that guests love in Hong Kong

  • Possibly my best experience of wifi and I've gone on 5 star and luxury hotels (via business trips), very clean, really nice staff and this is the best location - for a budget guest house, quite happy about this place. It is also in a good block.

Joyce, Family with young children from Singapore
  • The hotel was good value for money, have paid the same for much less. The best feature was the complementary use of a mobile phone to use as a phone or wi-fi hotspot. This was great when exploring Hong Kong - never had to worry about getting lost - just pulled the phone out and used google maps :-) also tethered to my iPhone I could get my emails iMessages and do FaceTime anywhere!

Christopher, Family with young children from Australia
  • Great value for a 5 star hotel and convenient location at Hong Kong Airport. Would recommend to others.

Ian, Solo traveler from the United Kingdom
  • Most likely the best 5 star hotel in Hong Kong - big rooms, great furnishings, very well positioned with an escalator to the shopping centre and east Mongkok station - a great find

    Haris, Solo traveler from Australia
  • Great value hotel. Have stayed there a couple of times and think it's one of the best deals you can get in Hong Kong. Will be back!

The Kowloon Hotel Good 7.3 Location was great, and hotel was clean and professional. Club room staff were great and knowledgeable.
The Imperial Hotel Pleasant 6.2 Everything, just like every other time I've stayed here. There are no negatives.
The Salisbury - YMCA of Hong Kong Excellent 8.8 The location of the hotel is its best asset. Enjoyed our stay at this hotel and did not face any problems whatever so. If I visit HK again I would definitely stay here again.
Nathan Hotel Very good 8 Big room. (Bigger than langham) , and much bigger than hongkong standards. if you are a couple with a kid, this is the place for you and you do not plan to take MTR. 7 eleven next door for water and beer. No view though Saves 200$ right away if you take a bus from airport. stops right outside the hotel. do not even have to cross the road. just 5 steps. Breakfast awesome. Worth atleast 100$ in HK standards . staff helpful. they even help you get a cab. free wifi Small Lobby. Did not find many eating joints close. 10 minutes walk from jordan. they infact stored our luggage for our trip to macao at no cost. Service above and beyond. Did not eat in the restaurant except the breakfast as not many options in american / italian / vegetarian
Panda Hotel Good 7.6 The hotel is not in central hongkong however still in a great area..the hotel was fully booked but still it felt quiet and peaceful I even got upgraded to the executive room which was just perfect...the subway is pretty close maybe a 5 min walk...and on the subway just 30min to airport and to Central...great hotel great location and extremely we'll priced......even better than some of the five stars I've stayed in in hongkong!
Regal Airport Hotel Good 7.6 Being so close to the Airport for our flight from Newcastle, then onto Hanhn Island, very convenient
B P International Good 7.3 I like everything in this hotel. Always our place to stay when in Hong Kong
Metropark Hotel Kowloon Good 7.5 good position with a free shuttle bus to metro and star ferry at 1/2 hourly intervals there and back

Royal Plaza Hotel Very good 8.5 Everything is perfect!! One of the best hotel i have ever stayed in the world. The staff is really nice especially Kenny who assisted us everything & very friendly & helpful. The facilities of the hotel is excellent. We enjoyed the gym, swimming pool, jacuzzi & streaming room. The hotel is sooo modern & clean! The location is just within the department store so we normally enjoy walking to the department store at night before bed^^ the price is not expensive at all in comparison with what we get. Even the guests are a lot, the process make the check in/out process flow very fast. i will surely recommend this hotel to anyone who plan to come to HK. I will also come here again surely
The Royal Pacific Hotel & Towers Very good 8 We checked in around noon although the official check in time is 3 pm. It made a world of a difference since we were both jet lagged. The room layout is smart, felt luxurious despite its size (we went for the most basic room). Nice bed too! There is a Starbucks in the mall next door that opens at 6:30 am. Great location overall, especially if you plan the trip to Macau. Walking distance to Star Ferry and subway.
Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel Very good 8.2 Having lived in Hong Kong for 16 years I chose this hotel because of it's location which is brilliant.
The Kimberley Hotel Pleasant 6.6 Location, price, size of rooms, breakfast, friendly staff.

    Style Amidst the Skyscrapers

One of the world’s busiest and most populated cities, Hong Kong is best-known for its stunning skyline with over 1,200 skyscrapers and its “East meets West” cultural mix. With architecture and interior design influenced by feng shui and modern technology, this city is truly unique.

Hong Kong offers plenty of interesting city and thematic tours, ranging from cuisine-oriented, to architecture or nature. The latter is particularly fascinating as Hong Kong has many amazing mountain landscapes, marine parks and the Tian Tan Buddha on Lantau Island is only a ferry ride away.

Kowloon is a busy urban center near Victoria Harbor, where ferries are an excellent choice to see just how tall Hong Kong's buildings actually are. Excellent tax-free shopping can be found in high-class malls, boutiques and street markets.

Hong Kongs’ unique cultural fusion is clearly seen, tasted and heard in the local food, like dim sum from Maxim's Palace or hot pot from street vendors complimented local Cantopop music in the background.

Arriving at Hong Kong International Airport you’re only a short trip from the city center. Whether you’re staying in a chic hotel or a budget hostel, has the perfect accommodation for a holiday in Hong Kong.
