No sandy beaches are available in Dramalj.
No sandy beaches are available in Dramalj. All beaches are rocky with some concreate structures enabling sunbathing. Definitely bring water shoes and joga mats if you wish to sunbath there. Evening activities are great in central Crikvenica right at the port entrance. Find some apartment that is really close to the water, otherwise the hill to climb back to your apartment is very steep. Water is pristine. Restaurants are very good.

Nice apartment area, beaches are great. But there is just one little grocery shop nearby, for everything else you need to travel to Crikvenica. Also not many restaurants. There are local buses (City bus Crikevnica) going from Crikvenica to Jadranovo.

Dramalj is a lovely village with wonderful sea views, a few...
Dramalj is a lovely village with wonderful sea views, a few small stone beaches with areas for renting lounge chairs and umbrellas, and a few restaurants on the main road along the seacoast. I ate at two of them, going back three times to one because the food was good, reasonably priced, and the staff was friendly. There was an upscale restaurant a short distance from the sea walk, but not in my budget. I was there the first week of July and the village was not crowded with tourists. Since I had a car I easily went to some nearby villages to visit dog-friendly beaches, easily went to Riejka and Krk island for day trips. I would certainly return.

Dramalj is perfect for a quite holiday but really close to Crikvenica if you would like more moving. You can find places for drink, eat and good beaches. Note that it is a hillside, there are many steps and a steep streets.

The beaches with very beautiful turquoise waters and many stones, wear shoes to avoid cuts or blows on your feet. Important! Travel by car because Dramalj are hills and mountains, so if you do not come by car you must exercise your body and your heart to climb many hills, stairs whether you go to the beaches or returning from the beaches. We recommend visiting the restaurant DOMINO quality, price and friendliness. This restaurant is located in Dramalj - Brace Car 23, Dramalj Vl. Dubravko Domijan.Bunij - 10Scored 10

We have been in dramalj 3x now, but this was the best stay. I can also just emphasize the cleaniness, the terrace with the sea view and sunsets, and kitchen where we could bake / cook. It is a new apartment, and is really cozy. The Rudi bar beach is just 5 mins away by walk, where you can always find sunbeads for good price and also free space just for you.Juliana GemesiHungary

Coffee on terrace in excellent mediterranean climate in the morning was great. Totally recommended.
