It is a lovely but little bit small village with two small shops. It is better to go by car to the Makarska and buy all grocery in Kaufland or Lidl.
Restaurants on the beach are good enough.
What I appreciate is the possibility to make a trip by the ferry to Sučuraj (Hvar) or to walk safely to town Gradac... it is great for peaple with dogs to find small beaches by the way.

Drvenik is ideal for people who don't want to be in a tiny village, but at the same time don't want a too busy resort. The bay is beautiful, protected. Warm and clean water. Several restaurants and cafes right by the beach. Everything works as it should. Cruise ships leave directly from Drvenik. And also the ferry to Hvar. The long promenade around the sea to Zaostrog is great. Excellent for jogging, scooters.

Dvrenik is a small village in the Makarska riviera.
Dvrenik is a small village in the Makarska riviera. It has several pebble beaches where one can enjoy the sun and the sea. It has a direct ferry connection to the island of Hvar. Sporting and hiking activities can also be performed, like on the outdoor gyms on the promenade or walking up the hill to the old village and outlook points.

Everything you want, you should buy before arriving to this...
Everything you want, you should buy before arriving to this tiny village as it literally has nothing. The small shop is suuuuper overpiced, 1 small bottle of water is above 1 eur and regular price in other shops in the country is less than 30 euro cents. Also, sad thing is you have to go to Makarska for everything - medicines included, as this place doesn't even have a pharmacy.
Its only nice if u want something extremely quiet and that's it. For everything else it's not worth it.
Abd restaurants are cheap which is a plus i guess

Drvenik is very central, easy excess to Islands of Hvar, Brac, Korcula, & half Island of Pjelesac, Split is around 70km away.
Drvenik is beautiful little town to relax, swimming, & one of the best walking path along the sea and beautiful special pine trees to breathe.
