It's a very beautiful place...I got 1 night stay at pulau weh and went to snorkeling...definitely will came again later. I hired Banda aceh tour for our transportation n luck I've them..both of our driver Shah (Banda aceh) & Bob (pulau Weh) are very friendly, panctual and informative.

Probably the only reason to spend one night at Banda Aceh is...
Probably the only reason to spend one night at Banda Aceh is to get the ferry to go to Pulau Weh in case the time of your flight doesn't match with the ferry timetable. If it your case, you may spend some hours visiting the Tsunami Museum and the big ship that was moved 5 kms by the tsunami. Visiting the mosque also is worthy.

As a place to chill, wait for the next bus or ferry, this is a no-frills, simple, but very comfortable hostel. Clean, good wifi, A/C in the rooms, and proximity to money exchange, and shopping center. What makes this a standout stay was the hospitality and the help received from Ilham at the reception ... very welcoming!!
