Mount Juliet Hotel Excellent 8.9 Absolutely everything! Right from arrival to departure, it was a wonderful experience and sadly we could only stay one night. The room was amazing, the staff were all so welcoming and helpful. We had an excellent meal in Kendals Restaurant, and hope to be able to try the Lady Helen restaurant on a future visit (it was closed on the evening we were there). The hotel and all its furnishings are wonderful and the setting is beautiful, with lovely walks along the river and through the stud. Certainly hope to return.
Abbey House Wonderful 9.3 Friendly helpful staff. Clean, comfortable, warm and welcoming. Excellent breakfast, extensive choice.
Carrickmourne House Exceptional 9.5 Everything, especially the owners recommendation of where to eat. I would not have thought that there would be such a restaurant in Thomastown we would not have found it without direction

    • The grounds are wonderful and it is very convenient to Kilkenny. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable. Would definitely return.

    • Lovely atmosphere in a nice irish country setting. Nice friendly welcome. Convenient spot to travel to Kilkenny and surrounding areas without being in a busy city.

    • lovely and helpful hostess to each of our three generational group very pretty bucolic setting close to an attractive little town with a good restaurant spend day in Kilkenny and relax here afterward; an attractive home, b and b

    • Abbey House was a lovely place to stay when we were going to visit Kilkenny. The room was comfortable and clean. What a beautiful setting- an old mill house on the river and right next to Jerpoint Abbey which we toured in the morning after a delicious breakfast.
