Friendly staff, peace and quiet - oh and did I say an awesome aurora borealis sighting right from the backyard? The hot breakfast buffet was very good compared to what we experienced earlier in the vicinity. Bottomline, you will not be disappointed.

This place is like a dream! A beautiful boutique hotel with working farm. The dinner and breakfast were wonderful and the staff was even better! Did I mention we road their beautiful Icelandic horses on a mountain/flatland ride. Could have stayed forever!

Best part was the waterfall behind with a trail to the top. Our kids top Iceland activity was to slide on their bums down the hill.

The location under the mountain is amazing
But it is really crowded with a lot of cabins and cottages which made the place less appealing

Great location, northern light from the window, nice amd cosy

I would have liked to have more time to get up in the mountains and hike, visit the glacier, and explore Vestmannaeyjar islands. The property was very convenient to explore many attractions, like Skogafoss and Seljalandsfoss, and also not too far for a day trip to Vik.
The restaurant experience and food were the best of our entire trip, we were welcomed and discussed wanting to see the northern lights. While at dinner the chef came and told us that the lights were active (unfortunately not for long) and that he would keep our food warm while we went out, we then got a knock on a hotel door approx. 30mins after leaving the restaurant and it was the chef again prompted the lights (PS. we got engaged under them)!
We appreciated the attentiveness and going that extra mile to make sure we enjoyed our stay.
Everything.
It was in a lovely location, away from the main road and very quiet. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. We only stayed one night, the first in Iceland, and it was a fantastic start to our holiday.
All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We ate in the restaurant and the food was delicious. Breakfast was the best we had all our holiday, freshly made and amazing.
Can’t recommend this hotel enough, it was a great find….a little gem!
Beautiful place in the middle of peaceful, quiet environment, with not much around (which we loved). Wonderful owner, delicious breakfast, small and simple but way enough. There was kitchen available for guests 24/7, refrigerator, coffee maker and toaster. The place was clean, there is a parking right by the house. We loved staying in this place!!!
This is a small hotel, built in1927 and furnished with antiques which gives it a lot more charm than the bigger, modern hotels. It's a little off the beaten path in a serene setting with horses in a nearby pasture that invite petting! We had dinner in the restaurant, which was excellent.
We have been tranfered to Skogafoss Hotel because of an overbooking due to a system fall. Our stay was beyond expectations. the hotel feel quite sorry for it and we appreciate very much their kind gesture. The room was great, so was the lamb soup at the restaurant and the breakfast.
A wonderful hotel in a picturesque corner of Iceland. We stayed in an apartment - spacious, clean, comfortable. Great bed. Everything you need. Wonderful breakfasts . Friendly helpful staff. Great dinners at the hotel restaurant!
Quaint hotel, we were the only guests due to a storm and the lady in reception was so helpful and friendly. The food was lovely, the chef had made some extra treats which were divine! Breakfast was lovely!
Breakfast was excellent. Maria took great care of all of our needs, including our laundry request. Location was perfect for exploring the Iceland South Coast area. Couldn’t be happier!
We stayed at Hotel Anna during a storm and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. our hotel room was comfy and very spacious. Very clean. Breakfast was delicious, dinner was good.
Very cozy hideaway in a stunning landscape.
Great restaurant and excellent service.
Friendly horses and dog!
Hikes starting right behind the hotel.
Hot hot tub !
