This guesthouse was exceptional. The host made me feel right at home as soon as I arrived. My room and the common areas were very clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The breakfast was a great way to start the day and included lots of fresh and delicious options.

The location was beautiful. Incredible. Breakfast was delicious and Haddi was our host… he was very friendly, very very helpful ! This was our first destination when landing in Iceland and we definitely hit some *rough patches* on our way there. Haddi was very hospitable and not only did he feed us every morning, he helped us figure out where we were heading and offered to navigate us from the snow covered road. He made the first few days of our Icelandic adventure exceptional !

The guesthouse is wonderful, we really loved it.
The guesthouse is wonderful, we really loved it. Very cosy and clean room, nice beds, great shower. Microwave, tea facilities, bathrobes for the hot tub. The cute horses on the land. The wonderful hot tub, sitting there at night under the stars waiting for the Northern Light was a magical experience. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast very good and the staff was so nice to us. We are vegetarian and they made scrambled eggs especially for us without bacon, thank you so much! We regretted having to leave, but when we are in the area again we will definitely come back!

No meals provided but good selection in Dalakofinn restaurant a couple of minutes drive at the end of the road. They also do take-out pizza. You could walk this but better to drive and have a nightcap back at your room. We had a fridge in the communal area outside our rooms where also kettle, coffee, tea, microwave and cups, glasses, plates were all provided with a small table also. Hot tub had great view and fed from mountain water. Ample parking. Warm room.

We got in super late and the staff were so helpful. The room was incredibly spacious and the private bath was sooo nice. The beds were as comfy as ours at home and the breakfast was 11/10. If we could stay here multiple nights we would have.
