Hotel Club Saraceno - Bovis Hotels, hotel in Àrbatax

Set on its free, private beach in San Gemiliano, the Saraceno is a 4-star hotel with outdoor swimming pool and free entertainment.

The property looks just like the images online, it’s has a beautiful pool, beautiful and clean beach, the rooms were super clean and deigned well. We were travelling with my pregnant sister and they were super accommodating with the location of the rooms. It felt really safe and it may be that we travelled late in august but it wasn’t over crowded, and it is a perfect get away with family where you can completely switch off and relax.

He served a very nice breakfast including homemade jams, muffins and cookies. Parking our car was safe and easy. There is a small market nearby.

I recently stayed at Arbatax Park with my family, and I must say it was a highly disappointing experience. Despite paying a premium price for what was supposed to be a 4-star resort, we encountered numerous issues. The rooms were not as advertised, with noisy air conditioning units placed right next to the beds. Basic amenities were missing, and the overall condition of the resort was subpar. The staff's lack of English proficiency and unhelpful attitude further added to our frustration. Safety concerns and a lackluster breakfast only added to our dissatisfaction. I would strongly advise against staying at Arbatax Park.

Arbatax is rather small and not extremely interesting.

Arbatax is rather small and not extremely interesting. It has some very good restaurants (Taratasciar, A Volonta). Also, nice beaches, not very crowded in September. It is great as a starting point for trips: Jeep tours (Gennargentu, Altopiano del Golgo), boat tours (Costa Baunei), or simply driving on the spectacular SS 125 to Dorgali and visiting S'abba Frisca (museum farm).

There's a lot of spectacular natural beauty here to explore.

There's a lot of spectacular natural beauty here to explore. From beautiful beaches to red rocks, one of the largest caves in all of Italy, and plenty of nearby towns with their own charm. I highly recommend a boat tour, but make sure you book with a small group so you don't end up on one of those ferries with over 100 people crammed in like cattle. Also, be sure to spend some time exploring the interior!

They show a picture of a beautiful beach, when in effect when you see it in person it is a 20' by 3' section of a fake sandy beach between a bunch of rocks where nobody really swims. some lounge chairs stuck up on rocks away from the fake beach. the so called rooms are reachable if you are Mountain Goat and all scattered along the mountain side. the rooms have no working A/C none that you can control. To call the reception for help is useless. The phones don't work or there are no instructions on how to use them. The TV screen is the size of a Laptop computer and no instructions on what you can get or not get. There is a MAP of the Resort. A used one is shown to you by the receptionist. A copy is not given to you and if you ask they say they have no more copies left. I have been in many All inclusive Resorts. This is the worse ever .

It is a beautiful place, but unfortunately completely isolated from the outside world. We had a car, but the parking lot was far away and we had to take a shuttel. They didn't even have a map of the area at the reception and the internet went pretty bad. We had an old unreconstructed room, which surprised us a lot, because there were completely different photos on the menu. We arrived in the evening and had a big problem getting access to the restaurant because it was full. They did not suit us that the restaurants have exact opening times and in the meantime you can hardly eat anywhere / the surrounding restaurants outside the resort are far away. The dinners were very tasty, but the breakfast was the same every day. In the end, we got used to the outdated accommodation and restaurant system and we enjoyed our stay. The resort is huge and you have to accept its rules.

From our experience, Arbatax has not a lot to offer.

From our experience, Arbatax has not a lot to offer. Some parts seem really industrial and it is far away from being a beautiful spot to stay. It is quite practical if you want to to a boat tour to different beaches but you could possibly start the tour from other locations as well. We would not recommend to stay there if you want to see authentically sardegna.

Everything! My room was perfect with a sunny balcony and comfortable bed. It was peaceful and cozy. Plenty of space to hang clothes. The gardens were lovely and the breakfast room was quaint. I loved the proximity to the beach and it was right next to a pretty church. Gino was kind enough to pick me up at the bus station upon arrival. Some cute restaurants and even a market close by. It was the perfect place to stay in Sardinia and I didn’t miss having a car. I walked everywhere.

Very nice and calm pool and garden area with snack bar access. Rooms ok, no luxory but all is clean and working fine. Hotel is situated between the two sides of arbatax with walking distance to both the harbour side and the beach. The feel is that it is a little bit at the ”entrance” of the village, no problem though since it is calm and the area is really small. Recommend to take the full day boat trips to visit the gulf of orosei beaches.

Its a nice apartment at a great location, very close to the beach and some restaurants. Everything was clean and the bed is very comfortable. When we arrived, there was a problem with the water in our apartment, but Marcelo (the host) booked a room in a hotel nearby, so we had a place to stay until the water got fixed. Technical issues can always happen, but how he managed the situation was excellent. Thank you for that!

A very beautiful hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and the hotel has a lot of options to do, you can also visit different hotels of the chain. Our hotel was simply picturesque, very beautiful nature and beach and views. We were very satisfied. I also especially praise the handicraft shop, where beautiful handicrafts are made for sale. Good breakfast too, there were no queues, which has been mentioned here before.

The breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet is good , I like all the foods. The WiFi is strong around in the Pool, bar and lobby but they don’t have WiFi connection on the room which is okey for me and for my kids then they can sleep enough. The Hotel own another beach Lodi di orri with Restaurant. it’s beautiful beach so clean and white sand. You can ask on the reception lobby.

Arbatax Park in Sardinia is a great resort. It's big enough to be interesting, but not so big that you're walking for hours on end to get everywhere. We stayed at Le Dune which was a great location and gave a really good selection of restaurants and buffets. Exceptionally clean, spacious and views from the balcony were superb.

Location is strategic, just a stroll from the Red Rocks. Room was very clean with a garden where we could relax after a day spent in those nearby amazing beaches. Staff was really nice and helpful. The breakfast was maybe one of the best we ever had and those croissants are to die for. Highly recommended to everyone.
