The Villa had such amazing views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. Being a short walk from the Bellano shops, it was easy to access restaurants, the train or ferry to visit other villages around the lake. We also appreciated the break from overly crowded areas!

Fabulous property and host! Giovanni went above and beyond to welcome us and answer any questions or concerns, both before our arrival and during our stay. The views of the lake are just stunning and we loved sitting out on our own private terrace with a glass of wine enjoying our surroundings. The location is quiet and secluded, but walkable to town, the ferry, and the train station. We were able rent a boat right in the town and enjoyed exploring the lake on our own. We also took the ferry to other towns on the lake and enjoyed the busier, more well known towns as well.

Beautiful Orrido and Cascata are two "must visits" in...
Beautiful Orrido and Cascata are two "must visits" in Bellano for ones loving nature. The SS36 motorway nearby makes your travel with car very easy alongside the whole Eastern part of the lake, meanwhile the rest of the roads along the lake can be full of traffic jams. This to be considered if you chose your location to sleep during the night but travel to explore different venues during the day.

We would highly recommend staying in Bellano.
We would highly recommend staying in Bellano. It was convenient to other villages on the lake and we could be away from the crowds. It was a charming town with great restaurants. The ferry service was most convenient to Bellano.
We were able to travel around the lake easily and looked forward to coming back to our bit of paradise in Bellano!

Our group really liked Bellano.
Our group really liked Bellano. We were looking for a smaller town that was not over-commercialized or overrun with tourists, but not so small that there was nothing to do and the dining options were limited. In Bellano we found nice restaurants & we were particularly fond of the places adjacent to the water where we could dine and watch the lake traffic. The ferry schedule was a bit confusing but we figured it out spent some time on the water as well. In all, Bellano was what we were looking for and we were very happy with our choice. We would come back here again.

Amazing views afforded from a very comfortable townhouse style apartment. We loved the location and the relaxing nature of Bellano which has great restaurants and loads of activities without being overcrowded. We would recommend this place and hope to one day return!
we loved the location in the heart of Bellano, and we thought the apartment was exceptionally clean and well-equipped. Our host, Matteo, gave excellent self-check-in instructions and sent pictures of our route to the house which were invaluable. The apartment was VERY roomy and comfortable, especially the bed. I also LOVED THE BUG ZAPPER! Playing tennis with the odd mosquito was never so much fun!
Lake Como is heaven on earth and Hotel Meridiana lets you enjoy it to the fullest. Rooms are right on the lake water, they have their own private beach. Rooms have a balcony, ours was right on the lake. The free breakfast was soo good it was something we looked forward to everyday. Great spread! Staff is very helpful and accommodating! Would would stay again and 100% recommend!
We really liked our host Enzo who picked us up from the station. The room was large and lovely and we had access to tea and coffee. The view of Lake Como from our outdoor area was stunning. We really like Bellano as it was a "real" town with a real community and not just about tourists. You can just hop on a ferry or train for a quick trip to anywhere around the lake.
The view is amazing. The location is very convenient by car to Bellano and Varenna. The facilities were comfortable and roomy enough for 4. Though we did not use the pool, it was certainly beautiful. We would stay here again without hesitation and have already recommended it to friends who travel. On a side note, their olive oil is fantastic!!

The location was perfect, you can have a beautiful view of the lake and the mountains. We took the train from Milan to Bellano, and Enzo was kind enough to pick us up at the station and took us to the villa, that was a really kind gesture of him.
Definitely a great place to stay if you want to go to Lake Como.
Great apartment, clean and well equipped, you can hear sound of waterfall which is near to the building, very relaxing 😌 Also the host is great, Luca is very hospitable and friendly at all times, his recommendations were very useful and appreciated. Our stay in Bellano was just perfect. Bellísimo!
All new, free laundry! Also free: safe parking, wine, coffee, snacks. Beautiful room. Comfy bed. Mini fridge. Fast internet. Thick windows keeping noise out. Many places to sit outside and enjoy the view. Bellano is the town to start from to explore lake como with ferries. Leave your car behind!
Wonderful location, right by the lake with great views of the water and mountains. Awesome hotel staff - Marco and Tanya! They were very helpful and attentive to our needs and made us feel so relaxed. Food was great, too. Definitely worth another visit and stay in the future.
Location is good, train station 10 minute walk, but trains from Bellano are only 2 per hour to Varenna and ferry boats are few. only 1 flight of steps. 2 bathrooms though upstairs has a toilet and shower no sink, downstairs a bath-not usable as a shower.
Small boutique hotel right on the lake. Room was small but clean. The town of Bellano is a small sleepy town on Lake Como, tourists wanting to explore the area may be better off staying in other towns since public transportation is scarce from Bellano.

The hotel building and gardens are excellent and is positioned on the lake front. There is full access straight on to the lake which gives the hotel a great relaxed feeling. The bedroom and bathroom views were very good.
Bellano was a good base to explore Lake Como. The kitchen had all the equipment needed, if salt and pepper were provided it would be better. The bed was comfortable and having a washing machine was good.
Friendly host, great instructions on how to get to the BnB. The place was lovely as well. Super clean and was very comfy. Totally recommended for tourists coming to Bellano for visiting
