This hotel has the most beautiful view of the Vesuvius, the mountains and the sea. The detour is worth it just because of it. The room was spacious, very clean and well decorated. All the hotel has good ambiance, including a nice garden. Breakfast was generous and varied.

Spectacular experience and the view from the clifftop location was magnificent. You can park your car for free in the small underground garage. The staff are pleasant and very accommodating. Breakfast was beautiful with inside/outside terrace to take in the stunning view of the sea and port with the yachts traveling back and forth from Positano or Sorrento. Our room was a sea view with two large French door sets and a balcony stretching between the two. The rooms are spacious with a desk. Our bathroom was the most spacious shower fully tiled. It might be a little scary to drive the short, and narrow winding road to access this gem, but trust me it will not disappoint. They do provide a pool and a jacuzzi. Be aware the jacuzzi is pleasant but not heated. The pool is an above ground with a ladder and you’ve got to want to get in because it’s very cold water and up 4 flights in the side of the hillside. More breathtaking views made it worth your with to make the climb.

Loved being right on the water and hearing the waves on our balcony. The bed was comfortable and the room was a great size. Huge beautiful lobby and terrace. The staff was friendly and helpful. Lots to choose from at breakfast. Lovely walking area just outside the hotel.

We spent four nights at this hotel. We had an excellent experience. From the our arrival we were greeted by the owner, Francesco Donnarumma. He was always present making sure that all clients were satisfied and had what they needed. All the rest of the personnel were very kind and helpful. We had dinner twice at the hotel and the food and the service were excellent too. Umberto Appuzo delivered great service and friendly humor. The room and the hotel in general were very clean. The sheets were changed every day. I gave 5 stars to the location because it was a place of peace and relax out of the noise and bustle of downtown Castellammare di Stabia with a well curated garden and a pool. This hotel will remain in my list of preferred hotels.

    A good base for somewhere outside of Sorrento that is a little cheaper but with good transport links. From the port we got ferries to Sorrento, Capri, Amalfi and Positano. There is also a train service but we didn't use this. There are some great restaurants around, Please try Capri Blu and the best Ice cream at K2.

    The town was very nice and close to Amalfi for a fraction of the price. The locals were really friendly and there was a nice playground/carnival if you have younger kids. The hotel was in a great location and was a gem.

    Castellammare di Stabia was the perfect location for our visit. Just outside of the main tourist locations, prices were very affordable but within the right distance allowing us to easily travel to Capri direct from Stabia Main Port, Sorrento in rental cars and Pompei & Erculano by train. Being away from the main tourist attractions, the location was not overcrowded and provided a stunning backdrop of Mount Vesuvius.

    We were there in January, even that time it was a lively city. Regarding sightseeing, it was not really much to visit that time (like museums), but it is good for walking, shoping, eating, drinking. We couldn't use the Funicular that time of the year, but it is must otherwise for the spectacular panorama on the Gulf of Naples. It has good public transport. I recommend it anyway.

    This nice-sized town doesn't get much attention but surprisingly convenient as a base (and not many other tourists!) for visiting Naples, Pompeii, Sorrento, the Amalfi coats towns and Capri, using the frequent train service,

    The room was very clean and everything looks quite new. Spacious bathroom and there's a supermarket cross the street which is very convenient. Within 2 minutes walking distance you are at the beach and there's nice walking area.
