“This is an amazing place to stay. Levanto' is close to the Cinque Terre, but one town North, so you are in a place where Italians live, not some tourist trap. Our double room was perfect, large, quiet and there is a gorgeous roof garden with a view 180 degrees of the mountains. The staff are multilingual and extremely helpful and friendly. I did not want to leave.”
“This hotel was so peaceful and pleasant. The staff was helpful and kind. The room was large, bed comfortable, and had common-sense items that were great- like a little drying rack for washing things out. I liked the clean and simple atmosphere.”
“Very central to beach, shops, restaurants, & train station. Well looked after flat. The contact person was pleasant and helpful. Levanto is an ideal base for hiking, has a wide selection of restaurants, and seemed to be favoured more by Italians than other nationalities.”
“Loved the staff and location, it was just steps from the beautiful beach. We were so happy it was clean and welcoming (especially after our long journey). It is a charming town with lots to offer and certainly not the crowds of the Cinque Terre.”
“The hotel staff were wonderful and helpful. The terrace is a lovely place to relax and read sipping a glass of prosecco. Levanto is the perfect location to experience the Cinqueterre. It has a great beach and restaurants without the crowds. The hike from Levanto to Monte de Rosso is one of the most beautiful hikes we did.”
“Everything was excellent from top to bottom. We were pleasantly surprised with every aspect of our stay. Just book it, and enjoy the area.”
“Great place to stay while doing your Cinque Terre trip. Nice, rather new hotel up on the hill with sea view. Spacious, clean, comfortable rooms. Good breakfast. Swimming pool is great for refreshing after a day's walking. Good starting point to visit places nearby by traing. Great restaurants in town as recommended by the hotel. Safe, quiet, relaxing. Good with even smaller kids.”
“The free shuttle service was a blessing. Whenever we needed picked up it delivered somewhere, they came to help. Even after checkout, they kept our luggage and let us use facilities to get ready for our long train ride.”
“Everything. Dealing with Valeria was so easy. She picked us up from the train station, and dropped us back when we left after 8 days. Though it is within 100m of nearest cafe. Valeria's place is very peaceful and quiet. She gave great tips on things to do and see because it rained a lot when we were there. Also provided a big thermos of hot water each afternoon to satisfy craving for tea. Breakfast was cheese, prosciutto, breads, croissants, eggs, and home made cake, and Valeria made a very good cappuccino. Can't speak highly enough of our stay there. Loved it”
“The owners were incredibly welcoming. They were on hand to give advice on the best places to visit, eat and relax. The accommodation was first class and the view is to die for. If you want to visit cinque terre then this is the place to stay. Levanto is just a short drive, which is provided for by the Mario or Iliana at your convenience.”

“The apartment was spacious, very clean and had the best view in town. We had a friends family staying at another place in Levanto and they ended up spending a lot of time at the apartment we rented because it was so centrally located and had the best view of the sea. This apartment also had the best aircondtioning in all of Europe.”
“Extremely helpful staff, great quiet renovated room with view and balcony on 3rd floor over the street. The breakfasts were the best had in Italy with lots of variety. The hotel is easy walking to the train station to start the 'Cinque Terre' visits... Car parking directly in front of the hotel was great too.”
“Breakfast in the courtyard was cute. Staff was very helpful. Hotel is close to many restaurants and bars (and a grocery store is next door around the corner). Check out the rooftop terrace - great place to relax with a bottle of wine after a day of hiking.”
“The staff was amazing. As other reviews mentioned, you will need to either walk 15-20 minutes or take a free shuttle to the city center. The hotel staff was always very responsive to our requests for a shuttle and went out of their way to assist us in every way possible. Breakfast had something for everyone. We highly preferred staying in Levanto to explore the Cinque Terre and surrounding areas. It was a nice way to relax after a day spent in the crazy crowds found in the 5 villages.”
“Hotel Room: Simple and clean which is suitable for a vacation. Breakfast buffet: had a lot of diversity. Location was amazing; close to the beach, restaurants, pubs, shops and most importantly close to the cinque terre by train (few stops depending on which one you want to go to). Staff: Very helpful and friendly. Ready to give me recommendations if need. I recommend that hotel to anyone going there or to cinque terre.”
“Hotel Carla is just lovely. Newly renovated, it sits in the perfect location to explore Cinque Terre. If you are driving, it is also so much easier to get to here than anywhere else in Cinque Terre. It is a mere 10 mins walk to the train station that takes you to the 5 towns. Levanto itself is also a nice charming town to explore. The receptionist, a short hair lady was really nice, friendly, genuine and truly one of the most amazing person we have met in Italy.”
