Hotel Helvetia Good 7.7 Nice position in Lido. And the receptions are very nice. The room is very comfortable and clean.
Best Western Hotel Villa Mabapa Very good 8 Staff was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was good with great coffee. Clean rooms and comfortable. Would return again.
Residenza d'Epoca Albergo Quattro Fontane Very good 8.1 Very nice historic accommodation with large rooms. Plenty of room for our family of 5.
Grande Albergo Ausonia & Hungaria Wellness & SPA Very good 8.3 Staff Brilliant, large room, comfy bed, lovely location. Simply the best
Best Western Hotel Biasutti Good 7.8 Great location, just a few minutes walk from the ferry boat station. The room was comfortable and well equipped. The staff is professional and helpful ( we got a lot of information about the surroundings ). Wonderful breakfast!
Hotel Le Boulevard Good 7.9 Just next to the market which works till 23.00, comfortable room, very close to the beach and to the port.
Hotel Excelsior Venice Very good 8.3 I cannot say enough good things about the concierge staff. They went above and beyond. We went to a restaurant, Harrys Dolce (outstanding!) that was 2 boat rides away and when we returned to the hotel the concierge told me the restaurant called and said I left my sweater behind. The concierge said not to worry that he would get it back to me and he did!! We also asked for a restaurant recommendation that was not too expensive and they sent us to a terrific place where we had a fabulous meal. The room was small but worked perfectly and was well appointed. The pool and the beach were great. Perfect after a day touring Venice. The shuttle boat from the hotel to San Marco Sq was very convenient. We loved it.
Villa Casanova Excellent 8.9 Villa Casanova, it's host Alessandro and the staff were amazing. It's proximity to the Lido water bus, local restaurants and beach are and would perfect for any trip you're booking. Alessandro seemed to know all of the ins and outs of Venice and was able to make suggestions for everything we desired to do and see. I only wish we had been able to stay longer.
Villa Angelica Good 7.9 The pre arrival information on how to make the airport tranfer to Villa Angellica The location on the Venice Lido and easy links to Venice itself The helpfulness of the staff, with room service for breakfast
Hotel Riviera Very good 8.2 The breakfast was top notch. The dining staff very efficient. The desk staff with one exception was very informative.
Hotel Panorama Very good 8.4 Everything. Not a thing we did not like. Had a brilliant stay
Hotel Villa Laguna Excellent 8.7 Villa Luguna has got the most ideal spot-rite across the water from St Mark's square-which is only 10 minutes away by water taxi, which you get from the Lido water taxi stop, which is only 2 minutes walk away. It is on line 1 so it is a fast service anywhere you need to go on the Grand Canal. We bought a 3 day ticket for all 3 of us-no discount for children, for €35 each. When we arrived at Marco Polo airport we splashed out and got a private water taxi, which cost €130-which the hotel can organise for you-rite to the door of the hotel-absolutely fantastic! Our family room was on the 3rd floor-which was hot when we arrived-the air conditioning wasn't working-but they fixed that very quickly. Breakfast was all you would need-and a glass of Prosecco which I had to have a taste of! You have great views of St Marks square from the window-and we also saw two cruise ships turning in the laguna. Dinner was also served here, which we had one night, and it was fabulous. The staff were excellent and spoke very good English-and they will help you with anything-from buying water bus tickets,to recommending bars or restaurants, and also bike hire which was very pleasant. There is a beach 10 minutes walk away-and our 8 year old loved it. The local area has bars and restaurants, which we were impressed with. They also had clothes shops to seperate you from your spare Euros. All in all we loved our stay here, and after a busy day walking about beautiful Venice,I looked forward to coming back to the hotel garden, watching the world go by with my Aperol Spritzer in one hand, and an Aperol Spritzer in the other hand, and admiring how beautiful a place this is! We will be back!!
Ca' Del Moro Good 7.6 The room and balcony was amazing, although there was a couple of issues with the tv not working, there was nothing we could complain about.
Hotel Belvedere Good 7.6 Near Venice, but not in it. More relaxed and less crowded. Easy access to the vaporretti (water-bus).
Villa Laguna Apartments Very good 8.1
