Residence Marina offers traditional Italian vibe and accomodation style very close to the sea. We went in December to visit Cinque Terre national park in 40 minutes distance from this place. The sweet Italian breakfast can be hit or miss for some, but we liked it overall. The facility offers generous coffees any time of the day, and possibility to warm up food. Staff was very helpful and friendly, and our kid was roaming freely in their space. May be a scale-up to better apartment would have earned them 9-10 rank, but triple room was fairly okay in size. Parking in front of the residence or in the vicinity is permitted. I would come again if they promise my coconut cake for breakfast :)

I can NOT recommend this place to anyone.
I can NOT recommend this place to anyone. It is close to the sea but you can’t se it enourmus stabilimenti’. If you do go to the sea the water seams dirty and not worth swimming in. The best you can do is to use the place for driving to other places near by - Siena, Pisa, Lerici… Do not stay in Marina di Carrara 😡 Terrible place! A nightmare!

It is a very interesting area as it is a holiday destination but it is also where the famous Carrara Marble comes from. It is quite fascinating going up and seeing them cut great chunks of marble from the surrounding area.

We stayed here as a base for Cinque Terre, Portovenere, Lucca etc as we had a car. It was a nice place with a lovely host and comfortable apartment. Good neighbourhood quite close to the sea, there were a lot of good food shops nearby.каринаRussia - 8.0Scored 8.0

Well, we have been in September, when season comes to an end, so city was quite, most of restaurants were closed, althought beaches were quite empty even if weather was awesome. Sandy beaches, 3 public, clean, however lot of guys selling stuff... exhausting.ArthurS26Poland

It’s insane how much they clean daily, we found our room as clean as of we just made the check in. Staff is indeed super nice and so helpful. Breakfast is light but tasty, italian style with fresh fruit and every morning some small treats. Internet is great - I was able to have a conference call without problems. Staff (David) was very friendly and offered us to use a beach umbrella and couple of bicycles. Going to the beach by bike only takes a few minutes.
