Hotels that guests love in Piazza Armerina

  • In this large, old house. They made us dinner, which week they didn't have to do and which was delicious and made us feel truly welcome. The views in the morning were soothing and delightful. If you want a taste of what was wonderful about Sicily in the middle of the 20th century and before, Villa Trigona is a discovery.

  • The staff; very helpfull and friendly. The total atmosphere and especially having diner in the villa; the best diner we had during our 9 day's trip in Sicily.

  • Having stumbled upon Torre Di Renda 4 years ago when travelling in Sicily, I was so charmed that I determined to make another visit. We were not disappointed, the accommodation is definitely 3 star but the food and hospitality, as well as the location are amazing. Wonderful views, peaceful forest walks and so close to the Roman villa. 4 course, typical Sicilian was superb, thanks so much, again!

  • We loved the tranquility, fantastic views and free roaming animals :-) Have never seen so many free range peacocks in one place :-) Breakfast was brilliant, food fresh and home made. Location wise was perfect for exploring central Sicily, especially Enna, Villa Romana de Casale and Piazza Armerina, and just over an hour's drive from Catania airport.

  • Magnificent place, helpful staff and very nice rooms and facilities. We totally recommend the dinner that the agriturismo is offering, it was our best dinner in Sicily during the 7-days trip!

Villa Trigona Excellent 8.6 Ancient family home, with pool, gardens and archery(!). Very welcoming.
Park Hotel Paradiso Good 7.9 Great hospitality. Great views. Bus available to visit monuments. In-house services of good quality!
Agriturismo Savoca Good 7.6 This place was a beautiful surprise. It was a very relaxing and quiet place to stay. A nice change of pace out in the country. Our room was comfortable and clean. We had dinner and breakfast here and the food was fantastic and there was plenty of it. Staff were friendly. Only wish we could have stayed here longer.
Agriturismo Salemi Excellent 8.8 This agri-tourism spot was fantastic. Lovely spot, delicious authentic Sicilian meal, helpful kind staff. Couldn't have asked for more!
La Casa sulla Collina d'Oro Very good 8.4 The staff was very helpfull. Breakfast was great. The room was clean and everythingg worked just fine.
Villa Clementine Wonderful 9.3 Rita and family are wonderful hosts. Alcove room was wonderful with private entrance. Breakfast and appertivo were wonderful. Villa has amenities like Pool/Garden. All top class! We'll be back when we are visiting Sicily again...
Homehotels Wonderful 9.2 the whole experience was great. Fabulous location. So spotlessly clean looked as though it had never been used before. very secure also.
Agriturismo Bannata Wonderful 9 If you are looking for for all modern conveniences such as wifi and a TV in your room, this is not for you. But if you understand that this a lovingly restored farmhouse that is some 300 years old, and you enjoy a sense of history and the tranquility of the countryside, this IS the place for you. We slept so well, away from the noise of the bigger towns. The situation is ideal for visiting Villa Casale, which for us was a highlight of our 7 weeks in Italy, also the museum in Aidone and the excavations at Morgantina. We also did a day trip to Agrigento. We ate 1 night at the local restaurant with the reputation, but found it didn't live up to the hype. The dinner we had at Bannata was delicious, and less than half the price. The best ingredients, straightforward recipes, excellent. Like most people we missed the entrance, coming from Enna, Agriturismo Bannata is on your left, but the major sign for it is on your right, and it says Masseria Bannata. If you get to an Agip Eni petrol station on your right, you have gone too far! Turn round, drive back about 400 metres and keep looking for the big sign, now on your left, that points to the driveway. The proprietor was charming, the staff very helpful. Overall, couldn't fault, great value for money!
Hotel Ristorante Mosaici Good 7.6 Conveniently located in the proximity of Villa Romana, the hotel offered simple, comfortable and spacious rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Agriturismo Leano Good 7.2 Lovely surroundings out in the country - complex is not completed but where we stayed was excellent and high quality. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good parking in the grounds.
Agriturismo Camemi Good 7.5 The landscape and the building are awful.
