Sleepy seaside town that was welcoming. Pizzo beach is sandy and protected by the wall. The town is filled with small delights - like the many fountains, and the main square. The town is famous for it's ice-creams in particular Tartufo and it's fresh tuna.

Fab little town with an old, central piazza and a beach, promenade area. Lots of restaurants and opportunities to taste Tartufo, the local ice cream. On a clear day you can see the volcanic island of Stromboli.

We stopped here on our way to Tropea and could’ve stayed longer. There was a lively feel to the town, but it was also very peaceful and relaxing we especially recommend the restaurant Chili Pepper for dinner.

This is one of the best bookings we’ve ever made.
This is one of the best bookings we’ve ever made. The guest house is in the center of town, 1 min to town square, 5 to beach, 20 walk (or quick tuktuk) to train station. The house was pristine, super clean, and had everything we needed and more. Beautiful balcony with seating, large bathroom and great kitchen. Caterina was a great host and managed contactless check in well; she was very flexible with our check out requirements too. Breakfast was provided at a cafe nearby and the food and service was lovely. We would recommend this house to everyone.

nice and quite place. its a great village to relax a few days.
there is a few restaurants and some ice-cream/coffee place to eat and 2 small grocery's. maybe 1 or 2 bars.
you can do some walk on the esplanade. do some hike to Angitola Lake or just laying on the costline. during the summer swim in the sea. its a perfect costline.
the old town is tiny and easy to manage.
No breakfast here. And a beach club not at the beach--pretty long walk, but worth it once you do the little jaunt through the lovely forest. This is access to a unit in a club of apartments/condos. It is perfect for travelers with a car, who can bring in groceries, go up to Pizzo (7 km) for dinner (some really awesome restaurants--don't miss those). You're very stuck if you're relying on 40Euro cab rides which may or may not come. But Danielo was so kind, helpful, and generous. So he made our 2 days here really great.
The flat was perfect! All the facilities that you would need for a family holiday. The pool was was clean and a very short walk from the flat. You can take a short walk into the town of Pizzo in the evenings where we ate a few times on our stay. We also visited a few beaches south of the Pizzo such as Zambrone where the beaches are clean and the water is CRYSTAL clear. My son loved to snorkel at this beach! Daniele was very helpful and we would certainly recommend this property! Many Thanks!
The apartment was incredibly well designed and spacious. The bed was very comfortable, the air conditioning was effective and quiet, the neighbourhood was very peaceful, but close to restaurants. The whole experience was a pleasure. Pizzo is a gem of a small town. Mostly Italians. The little town beach is clean and the water is great for swimming and snorkelling. highly recommended.
Food was great. Location was great. The pool was amazing. The staff was exceptional. They went above and beyond our expectations. We have been traveling throughout italy and found this hotel to be the best. We wish we had booked more time there. It is family owned and they made us feel like we were part of the family. I hope to go back and will recommend it to my family and friends.
This location is wonderful. We spent a beautiful time in Pizzo. The suite was confortable and warm and the staff very polite and responsive. The sea view from the window spectacular, the bed really comfortable and Pizzo town, their kind and welcoming people and its surroundings were incredible beautiful.
We really recommend this place and for sure we'll come back!
We had a slight problem finding where to park, and they quickly met us at the public parking lot, and guided us to the parking area. The property has been wonderfully renovated and furnished. The shared kitchen and dining area works perfect for travelers needs, and the location with it's great views and easy access to Pizzo center can't be beat.
Paradise village! Beautiful hotel located in a green and colourful garden, with private beach and little forest. Nice pools and beach, Delicious food, friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable, with possibility to prepare tea and coffee inside the room :) Comfortable beds, slippers and gowns.
Great place to rest from the city.
It had a beautiful view in a quiet neighborhood. The hosts were so eager to make sure we were comfortable. The room was new and lovely. The shower was outstanding! We are traveling by car and there was a free spot to park. The property is very close to Pizzo and the beaches. There were restaurants nearby and a grocery store.
We loved the location, it's just a dream. The villa has a lovely garden and from here and the balconies you have breathtaking views over the sea.
Everybody was very friendly and helpful. We were really sorry to leave and will definately stay in Villa Angelieri again.
A super quiet location...where you can enjoy a croissant and a top coffee before taking a great swim in the pool or in the sea in the morning. Then hide at the bottom of the pool or in the air-conditioned room, the Calabrian sun is terrible:)
The most beautiful room in the marina area of Pizzo. Just a short walk down the steps to a free beach and many wonderful restaurants and cafes on the beachfront . So picturesque! The host is very helpful and I can’t wait to return ❤️
Fabulous. Great spacious location but very close to the centre of beautiful Pizzo. Lovely outdoor area. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast and coffee served in the garden. Spacious room with excellent shower. Highly recommend.
Apartment was spacious with a lovely outdoor veranda! I loved the location which is just a minute away from the piazza in the Centro Storico. The owner was kind and helpful too! We loved our short stay in Pizzo!
This is a great place and great value. The staff is very nice and helpfull. The Hotel is located 300 meters from the beach and restaurants. Very clean, nice and well maintained room. Good breakfast by the pool.
Great communication with host. Room located right in the middle of city center, very short walk (2 minutes) to main Piazza where restaurant and shops are located. Pizzo is an amazing town!
absolutely beautiful location. great price. we didn’t stay for breakfast. check in was smooth and pleasant. lovely clean comfortable modern room. best shower in Italy so far
