Pompei Resort Very good 8.2 Nice hotel, good location between Napoly and Sorrento. You can easy reach both in 20 minutes by car. Center of Pompeji is 10 minutes walk.
Hotel Forum Fabulous 8.9 There was not a single point that I could think what could be negative! Beautiful hotel, beautiful location, helpful receptionists
Hotel Diana Fabulous 8.7 The staff speaks good english and is always helpfull and happy. The location (if you get the right train) is great!
Villa Dei Misteri Good 7.9 This place was so much better than what we dared to hope for to that price! The pictures in booking.com do not give favour to the villa. Very nice pool, professional restaurant, helpfull people at the desk. The room was simple and somber, but with a lovely balkony. They served the best coffee I have ever drunk at the breakfast! The place is SO close to the ruins and the trains, and within easy walking distance to the little, modern town. The villa is called a motel, but is just as good as several hotels I have been to!
Hotel Palma Very good 8.3 Guisieppe the receptionist was excellent. When emailed about which railway station we needed, he immediately replied with full details of which train we should get and where to get off. He was professional and charming, as were the dining room staff. The location was ideal for visiting Pompeii, Herculanium and surrounding area.
Hotel Iside Very good 8.3 Clean, Friendly, felt like a family run business - every body cared.
Hotel Ristorante Vittoria Very good 8.1 We went to Pompei by a local train from Napoli, the station where we got off is called Villa Misteri, the nearest railway station to the Ruins of Pompei. It was nothing exciting to get off at this small station at 9 o’clock in the late evening at the beginning of February. There was no taxi waiting around, and almost nobody you could see except 3 or 5 local people who, like us two, just got off from the train which was gone away soon, leaving a vast silence behind it. We felt nothing but lonely and helpless at that dark, slight rainy and cold night. Yes, for Pompei, it was low season of tourism. Hotel Ristorante Vittoria is quite near to the station and very easy to find. It took us 5 minutes to get there by walking with 2 large trolley cases. It is a 4 storey building, all dark with a dim light out through the window of the ground floor. We feared that there was nobody inside and tried to push the bell on the gate, suddenly the ground floor glowed full of light. The door opened, and a little fat gentleman appeared and welcomed us into the marble-floored lobby. He spoke English, much better than most Roman people we had met before. I looked around the lobby and asked him if we were only customers of this night, he, with a professional smile, answered: Yes. Getting to the first floor by elevator, when we entered our room, we felt the room much warmer than outside, very soon, my wife found an electric room heater was already on! After checked the warm water in the bath room, she told me, “Things seem to be much better than I thought. They have considered almost everything” The next morning when I opened the French window, the rain stopped and the sunshine was everywhere already. I sat in the chair on the balcony and enjoyed myself with the fresh air until 7 o’clock. When we walked in the dining room, what we saw is a white cloth-covered dining table with 2 chairs around.
Hotel Degli Amici Very good 8.3 I liked the whole ambiance. The service was incredibly friendly and helpful. Finally, the breakfast was amazing. I would come back everytime again.
Hotel Giovanna Very good 8.4 The gardens were great. Very well kept and our dogs could run around and play with plenty of room! The staff were super friendly and helped with any questions we had. Nice shower with hot water! Nice breakfast.
B&B Certe Notti Superb 9.2 It was located close train terminal which made transportation easy, Its very nicely decorated B&B with lots of room. Anna was very helpful with restaurant recommendations and tips on the area
Costa Hotel Good 7.7 Friendly and helpful staff. restaurant was good , breakfasts were adequate. Great place to stay if you are going to see the sights. Esay connection to the trains.
Diana Inn Accommodations Fabulous 8.6 Very nice location near the piazza. Fairly short walk to the regional train station (Circumvesuviana) and Trenitalia station is even closer if you are able to use that one. The room was very beautiful and clean, a fridge was nice to have and the balcony to the inner yard was great. Staff was very nice and the receptionist walked us to the apartment as it was a few hundred meters from the hotel. We were also able to leave our luggage to a locked storage room for a day. There is a big shopping center in Pompei, about 2km from the piazza, and it's very easy to walk there. There you will find also a large supermarket for food etc.
B&B Elena Fabulous 8.7 Very nice hotel and friendly english speaking owners. Got information about surroundings which made easy to find things and places. Location is perfect if you are visiting old pompei ruins museum. Good italian breakfast.
VesuView Good 7.7 The staff was really nice and the breakfast was awesome. The location was really really close to the entrance to the ruins, and the nearby restaurants were really good and cheap. The room was confortable and clean, and the view was magnificent.
Hotel Pompeii Ruins Good 7.8 The best brakefest we ever had in a hotel.

The location is perfect for Pompei. The daughter even cooked my favourite meal for my 60th birthday. Our room was spacious and clean. Book a room here you won't regret it !

    • 1. Very close to Pompei ruins (just across the street) and to the railway station (about 3 mins), from where you can easily get to Napoli. The train is cheap and departures approx. every half-hour. 2. New rooms, so new furniturem new bathroom. 3. You park your car just outside your room. The gates to the hotel are closed at night, so it really safe. 4. English speaking staff.
