Hotel La Zorza, Riomaggiore Good 7.3 La zorza is so well positioned. It was a short walk from the train station and at the closest, lowest end of the hill. Staff were friendly and happy. Breakfast was quite good and enjoyable. It also comes alive at about five with drinks and music to boot. Lights and music also attracted many passers by as la zorza had the music buzzing for all ages. Great stay, will return.
Locanda Ca Dei Duxi Good 7.3 The proximity to town, the sea and the walks. It was clean, comfortable and the staff was very friendly
La Casa Di Venere, Riomaggiore Very good 8 Roberto was an excellent host, doing everything he could to make my stay perfect & giving me excellent information of where to go to find places I'd enjoy!! (Thanks Roberto) Riomaggiore is my pick of the Cinque Terre towns; & by staying overnight you get to really see & experience the town - after all the daytime tourists have left.
Riomaggiore Appartamenti Good 7.4 Due to complications with train travel, we arrived in Riomaggiore very late We found the contact person at his bar down the hill from the bed and breakfast. He was very kind and helped us get our bags to the room. Our room was spacious, comfortable, with a lovely little kitchen. We were able to have our dinner in our room twice. The location was ideal. We would definitely recommend this place!
Casa del Borgo Good 7.3 Lovely person met us at a cafe which was easy to find to take us to apartment. Large apartment for 2 of us very central to all restaurants and shops and close to train station and ferry. Well equipped, comfy bed and very quiet. A great find!
Banchi, Riomaggiore Excellent 8.9 The room is modern and very clean. The landlady is very nice and helpful. There are bars and shops downstairs. I would like to live here again if I visit cinque terre in the future.
Appartamento Giovanna Exceptional 9.6 Absolutely loved our short two night stay in Riomaggiore. The location was excellent and the apartment had everything we needed. The owner Giovanna also bought coffee, milk, biscuits and bread saving us a trip to the local shops.
Fisherman's House Excellent 8.8 Really convenient staying right in the village. Easy to get to by train/foot. The place was the perfect size for 3 travellers.. Were originally skeptical because there weren't any reviews but it worked out very well. Giacomo was very nice, gave us maps and train schedules and left us alone the rest of the time. Would recommend to stay in the Fisherman's House.
Voce del Mare, Riomaggiore Excellent 8.8 The view on the balcony is unbelievable. You could spend a whole day just standing there watching the Harbor. Room is comfortable with air conditioner and kitchen. The chair in the room pulls out to a bed. Great place in my favorite town of the Cinque Terre.
Cà Vivaldi, Riomaggiore Pleasant 6.8 Fabulous views, great sitting area outside overlooking the ocean!!
Sottocoperta, Riomaggiore Wonderful 9 The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The location was perfect and the charm was what we loved the most. Could see what it must have felt to have been a part of this town in the 1500. This place should not be missed and the owners go out of their way to help you
Luciano, Riomaggiore Pleasant 6.8 We were pleasantly surprised to have been upgraded to a room with private bath inside instead of external. The room was clean and secure, and the terrace was quiet and private.
Pepita di Rio Very good 8.1 Our host met us outside of the train station and carried one of our bags all the way to the room. (Suggestion: pack light.) We slept in a comfortable, clean room with the doors to the balcony wide open. Best sleep in Italy! Ocean sounds all night. Aside from traveling to the other cities in Cinque Terre, sitting on the balcony was my favorite thing to do: watch the water, the people, the brightly colored buildings, play cards and drink wine purchased from the very near wine store (50 meters) or take a nap...it was heaven! For food, Cinque Terre's finest fresh seafood restaurant is right outside your door! (Wine store is next door.) Our next trip to Italy may very well be spent entirely at this location!! Absolutely magnificent!! (Really, though, pack light: LOTS of stairs.)
Rifugio dei Pescatori, Riomaggiore Very good 8.1 Loved this cute apartment. A family of four would easily be comfortable here. Good price. Very helpful owner. Great location. Loved the decor. Comfortable bed. I would stay here again if ever I get the chance.
