“The staff was great. The location was perfect not too far up the hill in Riomaggiore. My mom and I missed it at first and went way further up the hill than needed. There are a lot of steps to the room so pack light.”
“The location was excellent, the room was very clean and the staff were friendly”
“Location, helpful and very friendly stuff, clean and very pleasant place”
“It was an amazingly beautiful place, both for location and for the accommodations. My room was great, the breakfast was good, and the staff, especially Linda, were helpful. BUT, potential lodgers need to take the descriptions of the access- 200 steps down (and up) to and from my room.”
“we really got lucky during our stay .. we were 3 Adult and 1 kid .. but we got the 2 bedroom apt which they usually use for group stay ... As no one else were there we enjoyed staying in the whole apt just for us alone ... Best view from the apt ...”
“We greatly enjoyed our four nights here. Our room had a balcony with two chairs and table and view one the rest of the village to the sea. Breakfast was nicely done. The staff were friendly and helpful. A wonderful place to relax and to use as a base for Cinque Terre.”
“Easy to get to town. Buy cinque terra card and ride bus and trains free.”
“Our stay in beautiful Riomaggiore could not have been better thanks to our wonderful apartment in the harbour. The windows open up to views over Cinque Terre's most picturesque harbour (in my opinion). The staff were wonderful and met us at the train station to take us there, giving us great advice on how to get around and where best to eat (even with some discounts for some fantastic restaurants). they also let us store our luggage in their storage room after checkout until we left. I would recommend Scorci Di Mare for anyone who wants to experience the Cinque Terre in the best way possible.”
“Great location, near train and restaurants, large apartment for price. Staff met us in easy location to take us to the room. Very cool shower built into rock wall.”
“The owner is great. Very helpful, doesn't speak much English but tries. The location couldn't have been better, great views! Really nice and peaceful at night and quiet. Absolutely wonderful place to stay!”
“The view from the small terrace is beautiful. New kitchen with everything you need including washer and dish washer. There is a great lookout point in front of the building along a trail with benches.”
“The room was fresh and modern in design. We had everything we needed within the unit and the restaurants ,superrette, bakery and coffee shop were just down stairs within ten metres or so.”
“It is an excellent location that allowed us to explore the area. It was not what I would call "luxury" apartment, but it was clean, quiet, and ideal for what we wanted. I wish we could have stayed longer.”
“Nice to have a place to park the car. Centrally located. Friendly hosts.”
“Definitely recommend! Best hotel I've stayed at in Europe thus far. Cute, clean, and super accommodating!”
“I found staying at Riomaggiore was a cheaper option than some of the other more popular towns. It was still very easy to explore the other towns via train. Hotel Banchi was cheap and we where expecting an average room. This wasn't the case. It was nicely renovated and quite roomy and comfortable. It was also located right in the middle of the shopping and restaurant district.”
“We found Riomaggiore was the best village to stay In,with great restaurants and the people were all so friendly. We loved visiting the other villages. The staff at Hotell La Zorza were the best, always smiling and always making sure we were comfortable.”
“Barbara was very nice, we decided to stay in Rio for longer and she was booked, but she found us another place which was great. Very clean, right in the heart of Riomaggiore, great was to see Cinque Terre. Was surprised by how nice and clean it was, best place we stayed in while in Italy, and was cheaper than 90% of other places in Riomaggiore. Has a nice communal balcony.”
“The rooms are simple, but comfortable. Every room has a great view of the Sea. The parking and Wi-Fi were adequate, but I can see that parking may be an issue when the hotel is full. What made our stay wonderful, was the wonderful service this family run hotel provided. We had dinner overlooking the water, and the seafood was perfect. My dinner at this hotel may be my best meal during our 4 week trip in Northern Italy. This hotel is a great location if you have a car and use it as a base for visiting Cinque Terra.”
