The B&b is a tiny cute house in the narrow streets of the town. All refurbished in a rustic style with a beautiful entrance courtyard. Valentina welcomed us with courtesy and kindness. She also served a tasty breakfast with coffee, juice, freshly baked croissants and fruits from their orchard.

Busy but pleasant seaside town, historic Castle if you have the energy! good beaches mostly with pay beds, plenty of food outlets and restaurants serving good quality seafood, meat and pasta dishes as you would expect, close to Siderno Marina where even more of the same is on offer including nightlife and shopping. Easy reach of hillside villages in central Calabria with excellent road connection to Lamezia Terme Airport.

Rocella Ionica is a lovely part of Italy, and home to the licorice candy famed all over Europe. Most restaurants are open during the summer months, and miles and miles of beautiful beach is perfect for relaxation!

We liked the place, it was clean, plenty of beds for the three of us (probably room for 5-6 people). Everything worked well, kitchen worked fine and the hosts were very welcoming and reached out to us on whatsapp and kept us informed on the availability before our booking (we booked last minute and they were amazing at getting the place ready for us). they provide all bed sheets and towels, also all the kitchenware

The hotel is not within walking distance of anything. Beach access needs transportation, but the staff can organize that for you. The staff is friendly, in general English spoken and very helpful. Even with the bar already closed at 23:00, the night porter showed me the choice of beers they have, asked if I wanted a glass and obviously had the time for a chat.

The hotel is very nicely situated - right across from a small park and the beach. Beautiful view. Because there were few guests in late October, we were offered a room with a view of the sea.
