The area is a good area to base yourself to see lots of lesser tourist attractions that are in the big smoke of the city area. There are lots of places like Montelupo which is famous for ceramics and the beautiful town of Vinci to visit. A drive across the hills provides great views from up high.

Very unique place to stay.
Very unique place to stay. There were far to many stairs definitely not disability friendly. There was no parking close. However it was clean and in a nice neighborhood, if you are in good shape and like to walk it's a great place.

Sweet little old medieval city with lots of charm.

Commune should boost tourism budget of the city
It will do the city a lot especially during Easter and summer season. Coordinate with Pisa airport and put up flyers to publicised the city. Low cost airlines like Norwegian airlines are flying to Pisa from spring to summer. So it’s a good time to put Signa in the map of tourism industry.

Primitive place...overall everywhere in Italy the infrastructure is pathetic and not very user friendly...if it was not for the history of the country I wouldn’t recommend Italy for travel...Germany Austria Switzerland are way advanced...
The government needs to get rid of all the street hawkers and hustlers they’re very irritating...it’s a menace...they just harassing you....
During my recent visit to Signa, a charming village near Florence, I had a comfortable stay at a conveniently located hotel. The accessibility via train to Florence was a definite plus, making it easy to explore the area. The hotel itself was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. While my stay was enjoyable overall, I didn't find anything particularly exceptional about the experience. It served its purpose as a comfortable base, offering a clean apartment and pleasant interactions with the staff.
If I could give them 1000 stars I would. Everything was perfect. We arrived at night and we were picked up at the nearby Signa train station. They allowed us to drop off our bags and then drove us to a restaurant that was open and had amazing pizza. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was picture perfect. I could tell a lot of effort went into decorating. The tower is so unique and was very impressive. They are the nicest people! My friend and I could not have had a better experience.
The “torre” was already nice from the outside and the inside confirmed it! everything is clean and as described, we felt directly at home. Maria introduced our room with the kindness that she radiate and then gave us a ton of useful advices for our stay in Florence and Signa. She was very kind, always available for any question and very dedicated. she was also very discreet so that you can have your own privacy.
you can go eyes closed !
Charming and authentic old stone house in the historical center of Signa, equipped with everything needed for your comfortable stay.
Nice local restaurants and gelaterias in 5 -10 min walk.
Signa train station is in 10 min walk and the train brings you to Florence central station in less than 20 min.
Supernice, hospitable and helpful host who makes you feel like home.
Great place to discover Tuscany. Highly recommended.
Sabrina’s home is spotless and beautiful!
It felt like a mini boutique hotel and had absolutely every single thing you would need. the kitchen was incredible — stocked with all cleaning products and utensils to make our stay comfortable and convenient. Sabrina also generously gave us a bottle of Chianti wine 🍷. we wished we could of stayed longer!
Great spot, great host! Irene treats her guests like family members. She was taking care of the comfort of our stay - picked us up from the Airport, recommended not so obvious turistic places and restaurants with spectalcular italian cuisine. Delicious breakfasts, comfortable bed and clean room. We will definitely come back to Signa, to Irene.
We were picked up from Signa station by owner of the place! That was super kind. Also owners did they best to make our stay as comfortable as it can be. Room/bathroom with toilet was clean. Furthermore breakfast was great! We felt more as we came to our friends home to stay then random hostel. That was great experience.
amazing breakfast. diverse and plentiful the best breakfast I’ve experienced. clean pool towels daily. pool was the right size for the hotel and was a great break from the heat of Florence. if you drive in I suggest the Europa garage for easy access. staff was attentive to all needs
i love the property and definitely want to come back there but when I have a car, without car going there is difficult and need a lot of money to transport you from hotel to the trainstation and from trainstation to the hotel.
Comfortable accomodations, good location inside the old city of Signa, very close to a train station which makes it comfortable to visit Firenze.
Exceptionally friendly owners which helped us make our stay a memorable one.
Small but really cozy hotel. It’s perfect to visit Florence. 4 minutes away from Signa station, which is 2 stops away from Firenze Santa Maria Novella.
There is a free parking where to leave the car.
Spacious room and comfortable bed about 25 minutes from the airport. The hotel is outside the city in the quiet countryside. A delicious breakfast buffet and very friendly, helpful staff!
Everything was amazing. The surrounding is beautiful, rooms are spacious and clean, with character. The breakfast is astonishing. This hotel has my best recommendation.
