Loved the port promenade area.
Loved the port promenade area. The coffee shops, restaurants and little shops were wonderful. Recommend the Ghiottone Pizzeria on Viale delle Industrie. A favourite of the locals. Very close to Tropea and other area locations.

We stayed in Vibo mostly because that's where our ferry...
We stayed in Vibo mostly because that's where our ferry landed from Lipari. Being a Sunday, we had to wait until Monday to pick up our hire car in a town about 30 mins away by train. The town is nothing special but we were very happy with our accommodation! If you have a car, there are lots of very nice places to visit nearby and staying here is a good way to save on accommodation in what is generally a highly touristed area.

The hotel is facing the sea, it is literally next to your window, there is a good restaurant next door, the owner and staff - super friendly and nice. Altogether - a very pleasant stop on the way. The parking is very close as well.
